Lightening McQueen and Mater

Can you meet this characters at one of the parks. My nephew and my ds LOVE these characters. We are going in Feb.

Yup. You can meet both Lightning and Mater at MGM. They are the actual cars, and do not sign autographs. And just be forewarned- it can get crazy when they come out, because there is no lines to see them.

Amen to the craziness. We were sitting on the steps on the MGM street and Lightening and Mater came around the corner - we had no clue they would be there. It was insane when the CM's announced "no lines - just go up to the cars". People rushed those cars like they were throwing out a million dollars!

If this is true with no lines, how on earth can you get a decent picture of them? That stinks. No one wants a picture with a bunch of strangers in it.

It's pretty difficult. I would recommend going to the first time they are out. Not as crowded.

They seem to set up in different spots around MGM. This week, I saw them meeting over near Sounds Dangerous. I also heard of them meeting in the streets back near the Lights Motors Action stunt show. If you go inside the Magic of Animation Building (where the Incredibles meet right now), there are cut-outs of some of the cars from Cars set up for photo opportunities.
