Light-up Pirates Pin Question?

So my wife purchased the Pirates of the Caribbean pin with the Skull & light-up eyes from DisneyShopping, and I activated it so my son could see it. That was nearly four hours ago. Does anyone know how would I go about shutting it off?

Update: The pin's battery finally died last night. Now I have to ask: how do you change the batteries? If I pry/pop off the back cover without pulling off the adhesive that's holding the electronics to the pin, is it even possible to change the battery?

FYI: the pin is the square Pirate's pin that is currently available on Disneyshopping.com
