Yes, isn't it wonderful?? I felt so lucky to be able see the OBC live on stage in '97 and I think it's wonderful that so many people from the OBC were brought back for the film!

We saw the movie in Dec and just saw the stage version last weekend. Both were incredible and the music is addicting.

Oh yay! A Rent thread! Glad you guys saw it...Rent is my favorite show, I've seen it and the movie twice. I'm a major Renthead. Snow_White, you are one lucky person. Well I should go out and buy it I guess. Jonathon Larsons parents support the National Marfans charity events and I think Mr. Larson was on NBC tv too. They are pretty sure his son died from an aortic aneurysm due to this disease as did my sis. He was very talented and at least his parents have Rent to remember him by.

The soundtrack is great. We have both the original cast and the movie cast. We enjoy them both. The stage production is amazing. I wish I got to see it more than the few times I did. Definately one of my faves. But we love the soundtrack around my house. Most songs I dont get to listen to since the sweetpea is with me most of the time. But we will hear "Seasons of Love" over and over for her. Thats her fave.
