Does anyone know anything about Oetker's Light Chocolate Mousse?
I bought some to try. It says mix it with 1 cup cold skim milk and divide in 5 1/2 cup containers.
I didn't have skim milk so I used 1 cup of whole milk. The carb count is lower in whole milk because of the higher fat content so I guess it might be better.
The box said each serving of the mousse is 3 carbs made as directed with the skim milk. Skim milk has 15 carbs per cup, whole milk has 12 carbs.
Does this mean that the powdered mix has no carbs? If so then making it with the whole milk it has 12 carbs in all? I couldn't get it into 5 servings they were so small. I guess it whips better with skim milk. I divided it into 3 servings and had one for lunch. It was spectacular!
So I figure if the mix has no carbs then each of my size servings has 4 carbs.
The mix contains Aspartamane as the sweetener. Peggie
