Has anyone bought one of the light chasers lately and can tell me what characters they have? My DD just broke her Tinkerbell one that we've had forever, has lasted through numerous trips, and we'll have to find a replacement when we go in May. Wouldn't you know our Disney Store closed last month?

Just curious what they've got now. DS is tormenting her with his Buzz one!

How much are they?

I've found a site that I can buy some from before our trip. Of course they won't have any characters on them. If the disney ones are just a few dollars more, than maybe I'll just get them there.

They're about $12. On our trip this past Oct. I saw, Pooh,Sorcerer Mickey,Buzz and Tink is what I remember.

Sorry for my ignorance. What's a light chaser? Do I want one? Is it worth $12?

It's the light-up spinny toys for kids. My kids love them and play with them all the time, so IMHO, they are worth it. They actually do hold up well - my DD had Tink for a couple of years now - been through several Disney trips and many hours of play at home. Unfortunately, tonight she decided to play with it near her hair - didn't hurt her - but pulled out just enough hair for it to jam it up, and she burned up the "motor."

For anyone interested in a more economical light chaser, we bought some without characters at Poly (I think only $6) they happened to be my kids favourite colours, but see through - they like seeing the inner workings. We also have Mickey and Pooh, that have been going since 2000, they are a hit with my day care kids too, just keep switching the batteries.
