I tried unsuccessfully to do a search as I'm sure this has been discussed here many times. Guess I'll have to ask again. Here's my idea that I need help with. Sis and I are staying at the YC a few weeks from now (oh joy and happiness :-) and thought it would be nice to stroll over to Epcot early for a coffee and pastry, fruit, etc. So where should we go? We may not even spend the day since time at the pool is high on our agenda. We love that walk from YC to Epcot, sort of a nice way to wake-up. We don't care for the Boardwalk bakery and have sampled the fare at the other hotels around the lake. Can you help us with some new ideas? Thanks ever so much.

I'm a huge fan of the bakery in France. The smells eminating from that place are heavenly!! :)

Sunshine Seasons in the Land has a great pastry section and the bakery on the Boardwalk

There's a great selection in France and Norway for coffee and patries.
In The Land, food is available in the lower level food court.

I'd vote for France or Norway because it's a nice setting. The food court in the Land is indoors and I'd like sitting outside to munch my breakfast and slurp my coffee. :hippie:

I'd second the recommendation for the bakery at France except that you can't get there until 11:00 when WS opens. (Same story with the bakery at Norway.)

Darn, I forgot WS doesn't open until 11:00. That's kind of later then we were hoping for. Thanks for all the ideas everyone. Keep 'em coming!

Sunshine Seasons has an excellent selection of pastries, I would highly recommend it, even if it is not the most romatic setting in the Land pavillion. But once you are there you might even have a quick ride on Soarin if you are early enough...

Sunshine Seasons at The Land has a nice variety of pastries, fruit, and other breakfast foods...without breaking the bank. We often get there early and get a fastpass for Soarin. Ride it if there is no line then go over and grab a light breakfast.

Also, the Fountainview Cafe has good pastries and a variety of drinks to start your day as well!

hi ,fountainview cafe if it's open great pastries ,cute little birdies and we love watching the fountain show!

Last I heard, Fountainview was still closed. Bummer. That's my favorite place to pick up a light breakfast. I guess we'll be heading to Sunshine Seasons next week instead.

I wonder if there's any way to find out if they're permanently closed? The last discussion here folks were thinking they open and close periodically.
