I would like to know what you will miss from stand by if you use lightning lane for rides with pre show.

*****rise spoiler alert***** 🚨

specifically I just saw a tik tok about Rise. Not sure if it was just the day and there may have been issues but it showed them entering skipping both pre shows- immediately entering the ship with storm troopers. If I paid $15 for that I would be upset. I want to know if this is typical.

I also have questions about the MMRR pre show

Great question. I'm wondering the same myself.

To me, the attraction starts at the first pre-show for Rise. It would be an inferior experience without them.

I can't speak about Rise because I haven't yet experienced it. But typically with FastPass you do not miss the pre-show, since that's considered part of the ride. You may miss some of the nifty stuff in the queue, which isn't considered pre-show. For example, on Flight of Passage, you miss the entire lab area that the queue snakes through, which has some very cool displays, including the full-size avatar in a tank, and various other experiments and whatnot. The FastPass lane for Expedition Everest skips the whole Yeti Museum and expedition outfitting areas, which are neat to walk through and look at all the stuff, but that's not pre-show.

I gather that some or all of the pre-show on Rise of the Resistance sometimes has been skipped for everyone, maybe because show elements weren't working. But again, just guessing.
