My son will be old/tall enough for the slide at the mickey pool but I would rather not have him go under. Do they provide life jackets for the kids? Do they allow jackets or swimmies we will bring from home. I know the resorts allow the stuff but I am not sure about the DCL pool. Also on another thread there is mention that the pool is only 18inches deep ...Is this the entire pool or just the ears? Is this the only family pool on the ship?

WOW I have alot of pool questions LOL.

If I'm understanding right, the slide does not let off in the pool. It's a water slide that ends in it's own little pool.

The Mickey pool is also very shallow. The Goofy pool is a regular "swimming" pool.

Have a great trip!

Erin :D

The Slide does not end in the Mickey pool, it ends off to the side in it's own very shallow (a few inches) pool. Last year my two DS (5 & 7) enjoyed the slide. Neither is a great swimmer, but they were fine without any lifejackets.

awesome :) I have to go watch my video again and look closely this time LOL He will be fine with the slide then :)

My kids wore their own swim jackets (the same kind Disney loans you at the resorts) in the Goofy pool and on CC. They didn't need them in the Mickey Pool.

Ok that is good to know since I doubt he will be swimming then.
