Life jackets/vests

My son just turned 4 last month and weighs 57 pounds. The life jacket he had before says it is 30-50 pounds. The next size I find is 50-90 pounds which I think will be huge on him, and too long.

Anybody know if there is any manufacturers out there that have a jacket that goes to 60 or 75 pounds?

I think most life jackets are sized that way for coat guard regulations and safe boating laws. There are different styles that may fit him differently. We have had several for our grandkids and each one had their favorite one, that is one that fit and felt the best for their size and body style. I'd try some of the more specialty ones, on our grandaughter,who was tall but very thin, we used a Yamaha vest.. it fit her perfectly, but it did not have the large floater in the back like an infant vest. You will just have to look around. try Overtons, Bass Pro or Cabelas and West Marine.
