Last night my wife informed me that we were adding on at SSR.
I like the idea because I want the 11 month window at a resort that has grand villas.
disclaimer- It must be said, that whether or not I like the idea is completely irrelevant. The only opinion that matters is my wife's...

....I wish my wife was this cooperative on everything.

Anyone else planning a SSR add-on?

Nice to have something to look forward to. We have talked about adding on there, but now that we've added at BCV, we will just have to wait and see. We'll definately want to stay there and try them out!

Obviously you could have gone resale for other places to be able to get the Grand Villa option. What was it about SSR that made you pick that place?

I'm sure it's going to be a great resort. Just wondering what might be the part that really attracts people.

We love our upstate NY vacations ( Chautauqua Lake ) so I'm looking forward to any new info releases. I think Disney knows what DVC members like and dislike, I dont see them taking a step backwards with this new resort. I would definitely be interested in an add-on.

Just returned last night. Talked to DVC sales rep at DTD and she said that there will be a large price increase and longer life on SSR. Not sure if she knows what she's talking about but she presented it in a convincing manner even when I questioned her about it. Time will tell.
