Life Insurance recomendations???

Hello everyone,

I am loking to purchase an additional life insurance policy for my DH (he is 16 years older then me), and I have no idea where to start . Whole vs. term, what company, etc.

If anyone could give me a few pointers I would greatly appreciate it!

I think Term is the way to go. We got ours through www.zander.com, my DH and I are with different companies based on the best rates. They will give you a number of quotes based on age/gender/health. We did both have to do a quick physical, no charge, at our home. A home nurse came out, not a big deal really. I would try Zander and maybe some other online agents if you don't have a local agent you are comfortable with.

You probably want term, unless DH has a LARGE estate and needs whole life for estate tax planning. As far as company, my life insurance is with Farm Bureau (along with car ins, house ins, umbrella ins). Keeping all the ins at one place allows you to get advice from one advisor.
