Life... After B.O.B

So, I've been on Vacation for a full two days now. Stuart's now on his second day of Camp. Funny, I'm thinking of him constantly now. I've got a great start on the first of two patio's that I'm building. I should finish if tommorrow (would have finished today, but temp hit 103 degrees today and I thought I was going to pass out.) I thought that Leah would be having a harder time with her brother gone (her chief playpal) but she is doing great. Likes the single child attention.

It has been hot, at least last night it cooled off a bit. After all the rain we had this winter I 'm loving it.

I pick November AND February.

And I will say the same thing about May.

Lets just put all of 2010 in there and get to 2011!!!! Although I have a feeling with a new little BOBer being born next month things will start looking a little brighter.

Good morning all,

It's another rainy day. We are getting the outer bands from the hurricane in Mexico. I am on my way to sit with a friend whose DH is in the hospital and going to have the heart test where they put the die in his vein. He is only 48 but smokes, is overweight and doesn't get off the couch. She is very nervous so I can't do much put be there.

All went well. It's not his heart. They think it's some thing stomache/acid reflux related. So good news on that front.

It's been just a year since my dad's surgery for the abdominal aortic aneurysm last June. Took him for a check up this morning. Still OK although the doc said he looked slightly larger so he wants to see him again in 6 months. Basically it was good news.

I should have done before and after pics! Well, the patio under the redwoods is nearly done. The heat is killing me! We worked far less today than yesterday. I'll try to get out tonight and finish up the non-cut pavers. Then, I'll be trying to cut them to fit all the oddball places. After that, it's grout and done!
