Yesterday at MK we were looking for a place to eat dinner and on a whim went to LTT and were able to walk in at 5:30. That was very unexpected.

We haven't eaten here in years (since it was character dining) and we were pleasantly surprised. It was the perfect meal for the holidays and a perfect meal on a very cold day. The food was good and the service was excellent. Very good comfort food.

I never thoiught I would write a good review about this place, but try it. You may like it!

Yes, it's always nice to get hot comfort food when it's cold outside. This is one of our favorite lunch places at MK.

I agree, we ate here for lunch for the first time in September (the last time we ate here was for dinner with the characters) and said that for our May trip it will definitely be on our must do list. I had this Colony Salad that was amazing and have been dreaming about it since our return plus the toffee dessert is pure :cloud9:. I think LTT is one of those underrated restaurants on Disney property.

Thanks for the good review, looking forward to eating here in Feb.

We've never had a bad meal at LTT.

I do wish they'd bring back the character dining, though. We loved it.

I really love it because of the atmosphere (I LOVE that whole colonial atmosphere- I'm a history nut!) Plus my kids eat a little healthier here since DS doesn't just eat pizza or macaroni like what's offered at most places).

We have only eaten dinner, but I HATE the dessert. I want to go for lunch, but I like for my kids to have the family style menu that they offer at night. Is it possible to get the ooey gooey toffee cake for an additional charge at dinner?

TIA,
Erin

I really like LTT for lunch and dinner:goodvibes I do wish they would bring the characters back.

I actually don't understand why more people don't like it! We always make a point of going there every year! Yummy food and good service!

On NYE 08 we were able to walk up and get a table!!! Needless to say I was SHOCKED!!!! The meal was great and the characters were still there.
We were also able to walk up and get a table last July.
I agree with the OP...it's good cold weather food! In July, I thought it was a little heavy. :)

Glad to see the good reviews...we are trying this for the first time next week!:thumbsup2

I agree. We had dinner there last month and we all enjoyed it very much, even without the characters.

One of our place to stop at every time. It's consistanly good food and the service always seems to be excellent. And, I never eat desert but i must get the sugar free raspberry sorbet when we go, it's so good. Love the salad's as well.

We are eating here for lunch this coming May. I am excited to try it. I really don't think I have read a negative thing about this place. It will be our first time dining there.

Thanks for the review!
This has always been a regular spot for us...until they took the characters away. We haven't been back since.

But when choosing where to enjoy our Christmas meal this trip the choice was obvious...I was just hoping the food was still good. So you have calmed my fears! :santa:

Would I call Liberty Tree great? No. Would I call it good? YES. Would I go there again? YES. :thumbsup2
