Hi my Adr opens up in a few weeks. Trying to figure out our last meal I am going with DS12 and boyfriend boyfriend has never been to Disney. Both my son and beau are picky eaters. Last year me and my son went alone, he was not thrilled with all the buffets we did including family style at Garden Grille. I thought he would like this option because he is picky. He didn't mind H&V believe it or not but didn't like Crystal Palace. We did HDDR last year I thought it was ok, he liked it. For our last day, we are considering doing HDDR because I like to go to MK the last day. I was thinking about trying Liberty Tree Tavern though as on option. I would do that another day but we are doing 50's prime time and I felt that would be redundant. I was also debating between Tony's and Crystal Palace one day since my son Crystal was ok and I have heard mixed things about Tony's but the Lady and the Tramp theme appeals to me. Any thoughts would be appreciated. The meals at Disney was the only thing I though was so-so last year and we actually loved CRT. Maybe more for the experience though.

We just ate lunch at Liberty Tree 2 weeks ago and it was not very good, we won't be going back. My Dh, who is very picky ate the cheese sticks appetizer and some kind of burger and he said it wasn't good. I had the Pilgrims Feast and it was just so-so.

HDDR was better than LTT, so I would choose it before I would go to LTT, but I enjoyed it most because of the show and the alcohol (it might have been because I wasn't feeling great that night).

I know I have never eaten at LTT before and wasn't sure. HDDR I thought it was ok I guess I thought the food wood be better, I was extremely exhausted that day 4th day of go go go, my son enjoyed it though I think I may go with that but I still have a month before I book.

We ate at LTT when they still had characters and it was good, not great but good. The characters are now gone, and I have read that the dining quality has gone down. Now, having written that....we are going back to LTT this year because my sis chose it, she has ulcerative colitis and wanted more simple / plain foods and thinks her kids would prefer that because they have "Thanksgiving" type food. If it was up to me, we would not be going back. We are trying HDDR this year, but more for the experience. Maybe you should check out the menus on allears.net and show them to your men to see what they prefer? Good luck!

If your son didn't like Garden Grill, LTT dinner's going to be pretty similar food. I'd personally prefer HDDR--if your son likes fried chicken and/or ribs, you'll be all set.

We really enjoyed LTT the last time we were there. I have 3 boys and my middle son is a picky eater. We all really liked our meal.

:)
