Is this a good place to dine solo for dinner? If you don't care for something (like stuffing), can you ask them to not bring it? Hate to order food that I won't eat and it get wasted.

I thinks this is a fine place to eat solo; not as crazy as buffet character meals, but still enough going on around you to enjoy. As for asking not to have something served in your platter, we did this one time at the Garden Grill. We asked if they could not serve the catfish and it was no problem at all. They brought a little extra of other stuff.

Unless you specifically want to do the character meal, you may want to try it for lunch. The turkey on the lunch menu is delicious, and yes, they will sub another veggie.

Does not matter either way for me whether there are characters or not. Just looking for a good place to eat.
