Liberty Tree Tavern is one of my family's favorite restaurants. We have always had wonderful meals. Here is what is served from dinner (from Allears menu list)..

BILL OF FARE

DECLARATION SALAD - Tossed Mixed Greens, served with our special Tavern Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing

PATRIOT'S PLATTER - Roasted turkey breast, carved beef, and smoked pork loin, with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb bread stuffing, and Macaroni and Cheese.

BEVERAGES - Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Orange, Lemonade, Birch Beer; Coffee, Regular or Decaffeinated; Hot Tea; Hot Cocoa; Milk, Whole, Low-fat, Skim or Chocolate; and Nestea Iced Tea.

Rolls and gravy also included.

It is all you care to eat and is served family style. We have done the dinner several times and really like it. That being said we also love the lunch when they offer an ala carte menu.

And sadly, characters are no longer offered at Liberty Tree Tavern. For character meals within the MK the two options you have are Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Royal Table.

Hope this helps! :goodvibes

Characters for dinner not sure about lunch. Minnie, Chip & Dale, Goofy
nice meal I was a solo & had great interaction with characters

from Disney website: Liberty Tree Tavern tantalizes patrons at Magic Kingdom theme park with patriotic plates including clam chowder, traditional roast turkey and pot roast, as well as salads and sandwiches.

Check in at the Liberty Tree Tavern restaurant podium and rest until the town crier summons your party. Be escorted through this authentic recreation of an 18th-century American inn, then sit and enjoy a New England-inspired meal.

Comprised of six comfortable rooms, Liberty Tree Tavern is furnished with colonial artifacts and provides a pleasant respite from the bustle outside.

I would recommend:thumbsup2

Wasn't aware of this :confused3 when did it change do you know?

January or February 2009. This was my son's favorite character meal.

The characters were back for a brief stint this past January/February while Crystal Palace was being refurbed. As soon as that was done, though, the character meal went POOF again.

Sorry, no characters. They are gone as of January 2009. In Jan/Feb 2010, they were brought back temporarily while Crystal Palace was closed for refurbishment, but they are now gone again.

I'm glad to see that people enjoy this meal. I ended up picking this for our first night in MK. It was between LTT and Tony's, my husband asked that we not do a character meal our first night. Doing CP our last night, so I ended up choosing this meal.

I went online, looked at reviews of both places, pictures of the food, asked on the DIS, checked out the ratings for it in the Unofficial Guide book. LTT consisently got better reviews that Tony's, and the food looked more appetizing to me too.

Bummed about the characters, must have been a nice experience.

So, we're going to give it a try this Sept, hoping it is good!!

Thanks for all the replies!:thumbsup2 We've done Crystal Palace 3 times and wanted to try something new. The characters were not that important since my kids are getting older, but just wanted to know if they still had them. What is the price for dinner?
