I realize that when we go (next year) it will no longer be character dining. Anyone know if the menu and pricing will remain the same? Who has pix of the dinner there? I'm trying to convince DH to go there but he's afraid it will be like a nasty Thanksgiving Day meal. So any pix and info about how you and your family like it will be much appreciated!

It's all served family style, right?

THANKS!!! :surfweb:

We ate at LTT in Aug. Don't know if they will change the menu once it isn't a character meal - hope they will because don't think it will be too popular if menu stays the same. The food is okay but nothing spectacular. It definitely is not up to the callibur of most of the TS restaurant and buffets. Thankfully when we were there the turkey was moist and not dry. The potatoes were good but the m&c was mushy. We tried LTT becaue we hadn't been there in years and wanted to try something different but we won't be going back there in the near future - characters or not.

When the change was announced, some Cast at that location posted that the menu/price would remain the same.

I hope not as I tolerate the food now only because it is Character dinning. The OP's hubby has it right. It is like a bad thanksgiving day meal. Perfect description. One done completely with stouffers TV dinners.

I had friends visiting and we ate at Liberty Tree. We enjoyed the meal. Two of use had the turkey dinner and loved it.

No it wasn't family style, or it wasn't when we ate at lunch.

We weren't able to get reservations there after they ended the character dining. We're going Jan 9-16 and when the CM tried to put in a reservation for the 12th the computer wouldn't take it. I was bummed, I did want to eat there, oh well.

The lunch has always been a regular menu, and only dinner was the family style frozen dinner thing. We ate there for dinner in January, and it wasn't relaxing or all that great at all. It just seemed overly chaotic, and everytime you would finally get back seated and take one bite, another character would show up. The kids barely ate. They like seeing the characters, and we did get pictures and autographs.

I MIGHT reconsider going to LTT for dinner to "do" a character meal, but I would NOT eat there for dinner if they didn't have characters. I have heard the lunch food was good though. The dinner food just wasn't worth the price alone.

Of course, this is all just MY opinion, but I have seen lots of similar opinions. I'm sure you can find pictures of the food on the food pics threads.

Aww man! We have this scheduled for our upcoming trip. At least the characters will still be there then though!
