Liberty Tree Tavern?

Been there twice for character lunch. Served family style (turkey, pot roast, ham, mac and cheese, mashed potatos/gravy, green beans, corn, etc), good food and plenty of it. Grandpa, a meat and potatos man, was in heaven.

We go everytime we are at MK. Food is okay. The meats are great and the salad with that strawberry dressing is divine (they have the recipe pre-printed so ask for it! I make it at home all the time!). The other sides are so so. Mac n cheese is stouffers and the stuffing tastes like stove top but the interaction with the characters more than makes up for any minor shortcomings.

We had dinner there and just Loved it! It's served family style with plenty of mac and cheese, rolls, green beans, ham, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and I can't really remember everything. Hot Apple pie and ice cream for desert. My kids enjoyed everything we had to eat. The characters are all dressed in colonial clothing and the interaction was great. My DD11 and DD8 liked the way they announce you as they seat you, mentioning your state. We enjoyed it and are eating there again this year!

Had one of my favorite meals there last year - salmon on spaghetti squash with pumpkin bread. It was delicious!!!! The tastes combined in a truly wonderful way. Also remember good desserts here too.

Enjoy!

I had this same thing and LOVED IT!!!:bitelip:

One of our favorite places for dinner in the MK. We usually have a dinner there every visit & @ least 1x/ yr. The food is very good & plenty of it & it is enjoyable to have the interaction with the characters. It is certainly a must for us. Hope you enjoy it. :yay: :woohoo:

Somehow we never have eaten at LTT. This will be our first time next month. Made ADR. I am so happy to hear everyone say the food is good. I have a 14 and 18 yr with me and a picky hubby. I think they will like it. :cool1:

We go to LTT just about every time we go to WDW and, until our trip this past January, we were all adults going to the character dinner. The character interaction is the best we've found at any of the character meals we've been to. The food isn't gourmet but it's good and there is enough of a choice to please even a picky eater and it's plentiful since it's an all-you-can-eat meal. Enjoy!

Like a PP said that they didn't think the food measured up to other buffets around...I completely agree!

We went for the first time last year, and I was really looking forward to it. I would say the food was so-so; I Loved the ambiance!! I thought the colonial decorations and theming were so charming, we are from Miami so we have NONE of that here. I'm sure some New-Englanders wouldn't be as impressed w/ it. The character interaction was also great, they came by our table more than once, and Goofy was very goofy.lol

My husband liked it more than me, he would rather be served family style(which this is) than a buffet. But both my husband and I agreed that the Garden Grill had much better food than LTT.
