I just made my ressie at the LTT at MK. I'm sure this has been asked before but can't find anything. Anyone out there like the food, atmosphere, etc.... I would love feedback. Thanks!!!:

You don't say if you are going for lunch or dinner. They are two different meals. We have only done lunch--and we really enjoyed it, DH had the turkey feast and I had a turkey panini thatwas very good.

We enjoyed our lunch there in April of 07, not too thrilled with the character meal for dinner that same trip.

We went last year for the character dinner and loved it! We are going again this year. I just made my ressie for it today. I have never tried the lunch, so I don't know about that, but the dinner was one of our best meals of our trip! The food was very good and the character interaction was great!:thumbsup2

We enjoyed our lunch there, we have never had dinner there.

The crab cakes are SOOO good!!!

We ate there for the first time in Feb of 08. We had the turkey and my husband had the pot roast. Everything was good and the service was great. We enjoyed it and would definately go back.

We love it and go every trip for dinner. We find the food great and the character interaction even better.

Loved our dinner there! It's served family style with plenty of mac and cheese, rolls, green beans, ham, turkey, I can't really remember everything. But the kids were able to enjoy everything we had to eat. The characters are all dressed in colonial clothing and the interaction was great. My DD10 especially liked the way they announce you as they seat you, mentioning your state. We enjoyed it!

We haven't gone for the past 3 years. We didn't think the food measured up to some of the other meals you can get nearby (Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, even Tony's). The mac & cheese is frozen Stouffer's, we don't like it at home either, though & the stuffing tastes like its from a box or frozen also. The meats didn't seem to be seasoned much. BUT, the salad is very good and if you prefer a simpler, blander menu (we feel it compares to a Morrison's or Piccadilly type cafeteria) it may be fine. We have met several people who like it for the reason that it is blander and not as highly seasoned as many places.

Oh, on a side note, one place that is overlooked, but has a great price and simple fare is the buffet at the Trail's End at the campground. It's a quick walk over to Contemporary and a boat ride across the lake. The prices are the cheapest of any buffet at Disney and the same families that told us they love the LTT also enjoyed this one.

We usually love LTT for lunch. This last time, it was a little off, not sure why. But the food has always been very good for lunch, we do love the burgers (especially the mushroom and provolone). We tried the dinner once and weren't all that impressed.

The thing that gets us is the wait. Even with ADRs there's usually a pretty decent wait, we've found. That being said, it's our favorite TS restaurant in MK (except for CP for b'fast).

One of my family's favorite places to eat. Have been a number of times for dinner and always had a great meal and yummy.

We went for lunch for the first time in December and loved it. My mom got the pot roast (which I ended up eatting along with her).

we had all our dining reservations booked at the 180 mark. we decided last week that we wanted to add the ltt. we are very late dinner eaters, but i was surprised to hear they had an 8.00 reservation open, we leave in 7 weeks. i know this is going to mean one of our meals will be oop (and we are having 2 ts's in one day) but my kids absolutly loved it. with everything being family style, it is a great place to sit and eat a nice meal. i can't say it's quiet because of the characters running around, but they make it much more fun, especially for the little ones. i don't know if they still do it, but at the time, when it is time for your family to eat, they announce the family last name and say where you're from...example, now seating the smith family of pennsylvania. makes it more old-fashioned :)

LTT for dinner is an absolute must do for us!! Though the food is not necessarily anything to write home about, the character interaction is great, nice dining room & plenty to eat. Well worth the money!

Went to LTT for dinner one evening- very crowded. We had reservations and were seated within 15 minutes of our reservation time. Food was very good, and plentiful.

I liked the character interaction. It seems like one of the characters are always coming thru your dining room. At first, I felt a little rushed because as soon as we sat down, there was Goofy and Minnie. As I was trying to butter bread for my kids, we were stopping to get autographs and pictures.

Overall, a very good meal and meaningful interaction with the characters, moreso than at other character meals.

I think you'll really like it!

We had a great time there. We were one of the first families for dinner and got to ring a bell and officially open it for dinner.

We are going for lunch. It is just my DH and I so I thought lunch would be a little quieter.

Had one of my favorite meals there last year - salmon on spaghetti squash with pumpkin bread. It was delicious!!!! The tastes combined in a truly wonderful way. Also remember good desserts here too.

Enjoy!

The lunch menu has a Colony Salad that is quite good! LTT lunch is one of my family's "must do's". On the negative side, our last visit (Oct. 07) we had a late lunch--in fact we may have been the last ADR of the lunch period-- and service was a little lacking and my daughter ordered the turkey and it was dry and the gravy was a gelatinous goo. Next time, we'll eat a little earlier.;)

We returned three weeks ago after our 1st WDW vacation...8 nights with the DPP...
LTT was our absolute favourite TS of them all. :thumbsup2
