How does every1 like the Liberty Tree tavern? I want to do a character meal with Mickey & the gand and figured this place would fit into our schedual. How is the food? How is the character intereaction? I want to go for dinner, are all the characters there at dinner?

I hate to break the bad news to you, but Mickey isn't at LTT. It's Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale. But the food is good. Think Thanksgiving.

I am so excited about going here. I love the thought of a thanksgiving type of meal and like the idea of it being family style...

We only saw minnie, goofy, pluto and chip&dale. The food was terrific and the atmosphere was great. We are doing it again this year.

This is one of my favorites! The character interaction was the best! We are going back on our next trip:)

Our family loves this dinner. We definitely like that it's served family style and isn't another buffet. We also think the character interaction is really good. :wizard:

Good food! My family also thought it was cute that the characters were dressed in colonial wear.

Chef Mickey's has the Fab 5. Garden Grill has Chip and dale, Pluto and MICKEY!

I have gone to Liberty Tree twice I think, and I enjoyed it both times. The character interaction is great and I loved the food, but I'm not terribly picky.

I believe the podcast crew had a not so favorable opinion of it.

Phenomenal, A-plus-plus as far as our family is concerned -- a never miss.
The whole atmosphere is like an old-fashioned Early American Colonial pub where it's Thanksgiving dinner every night -- all-you-can eat, by the way.
Some people say the turkey is a let-down. It's not like a freshly-carved roast turkey -- it's Stouffer's brand. But everyone in our family, and any guest we've ever brought, wolfs it down every time! The bread, the salad -- even the ice cold lemonade -- is excellent. (There's also ham and flank steak by the way.)
I see they raised the prices recently to 28.99 per person. I think it was more like 22 or 23 a head -- which I thought made it one of the best values in all of Disney considering what you get. But hey -- Disney is Disney!
Have fun.

We love LTT! It is on our list for November for sure! The character interaction was great and the food was very good. I am looking forward to going back in November. We saw Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale, and Pluto.

We loved dinner at LTT:thumbsup2 The characters are great and spend a lot of time at each table. The food is good and I prefer the family style service over a buffet.

If the menu appeals to you I say go for it!

Terri

We love it as well and go every trip. The character interaction is some of the best I have had on property. Food is pretty good, too. :thumbsup2

We ate there twice-once in 2004 and it was great-great food, great character interation! Our last trip in November-food was not so great, but still great character interation. I thought it went downhill from our first visit. But maybe the chef was having a bad day...either way I am not ready to write it off, I will be eating there again, but if its like it was in November then that will be the last time we eat there.
