Hi

We're trying to decide between a dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace as a PS before MNSSHP - a long time away I know but I would appreciate any info about either or both of these restaurants.

Thanks

We've done Liberty Tree some years ago, and it was fine.

Good, simple food, and lots of it, and decent character interaction. Food is meat, spuds and veg to put it simply, but very nice all the same.

Would I rush back? Not really, but that is more of a reflection of me wanting to try somewhere different, than it being bad.

We've never done CP, but know people who have, and it got a rave review. I'm sure others who have done it will be along shortly.

If you are going for the characters, it's worth bearing in mind which ones attend each venue.

LT = Goofy, Minnie, Chip & Dale

CP = Pooh and friends

We did the Liberty Tree, it cost $22.95/adult and half for kids. Was it worth it, not really. The food was excellent and as much as you could eat. We only saw Pluto, Minnie, Chip and Dale. That's the only character meal we've done. We did not make reservations, we walked right in.

We did LTT a couple of years ago and didn't really like it. We didn't think the food was all that great and the characters were very rushed.

We have done CP but only for breakfast. The breakfast food is very good and the character interaction is excellent so if the dinner is anything like the breakfast I would definitely visit this one.

I have done Crystal Palace and will be visiting again this year.

We had dinner there. Really enjoyed it, buffet was excellent Salmon drizzled with honey and mustard was superb, also had chicken beef, vegetables of all descriptions jacket potatoes etc lots of desserts too.

Character interaction was good, pooh bear and friends.

We did CP last year - and we loved it. The food was delicious - my favourite thing was the salad with the white zinfandel dressing - it was fantastic!!
Characters were great - Tigger always full of fun!!

We definitely plan to go back next year!

We also did CP last trip and will be going back again for DS's first birthday meal in a couple of months time.

They had the most delicious lamb chops the day we visited, and the creme brulee and bread and butter pudding for dessert were superb.

Our server also introduced me to a drink known as an 'Arnold Palmer', which is half iced tea, half lemonade, and really refreshing on a hot day.

We found the character interaction really good, and whilst the restaurant was busy we didn't feel at all rushed.

Haven't done CP so can't comment on that. Did LTT for Christmas dinner. Although simle fare, it was the best cooked meal we've inside a park. Good luck

Hi

Thanks to everyone who has replied - much appreciated.

My mind is made up now and we're going to try out Crystal Palace.
