We have our old favorites- restaurants we do each trip but this time we are trying some new ones. Has anyone ever had lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern?

We had lunch there a few years back, and did the character meal last year. I prefered lunch, and ordering off a menu rather than the pre-plated meal they serve at dinner.
Lunch was good and I fairly sure we will have lunch there on our March trip. :jester:

My husband and I ate there on our honeymoon and I had been previously and enjoyed it as well. I agree - definitely order off the menu. . . the food is good and the characters are everywhere and very interactive - I enjoyed it very much and we didn't have kids then. We still are children-free and are heading back in May and will most likely stop by again. Enjoy!

My DW and I had lunch there a couple years ago and plan to return this upcoming trip. The lunch was not a character meal then and I'm hoping it isn't now. (I believe supper is a character meal.) I had the Old Glory burger which was excellent. My DW has an allergy to wheat/gluten so she could not order off the menu. The chef came to our table, spoke to her for a while and made a few suggestions. She picked a fish dish and the chef even made her a couple wheat free biscuits! She thought it was excellent. The colonial atmosphere is very nice and it is quite comfortable.

We love to have lunch at the LTT. They have "Sally Lunn" rolls and I don't know what makes them so good but they are. We've tried hot entrees, sandwiches, and salads and none of us have come away disappointed. We've had very good service there also. I love the colonial atmosphere!

I've had lunch there twice. In Dec. '99 I had the Benedict Arnold. A bad choice on my part, since I know I don't like Swiss cheese. I was there again this past May and had the crab cake appitizer and Cape Cod Chicken. Both were very good.

I always eat at Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch on the day we arrive. I have always enjoyed the meal no matter what I order. Be sure to stop there - you won't regret it.

LTT has a great colonial lunch salad. We have never been disappointed at LTT.

Have been there numerous times for lunch in the past, the last time being December 2001. Service was very good and my DH and I just love the pot roast for lunch!! Wish I was going back soon !

This is my favorite lunch spot. The ONLY thing I've ordered there that I didn't like was the crabcake. The salad is out of this world! My whole family thinks that it's the best place to eat for lunch!

On each of our last 7 trips to WDW we eat lunch here(NO characters-that's at night)...and it gets better every time! Nice selection of sandwiches, plus stew in a bread bowl, but the hot meals change seasonally and they are always delicious.DH and i had a salmon dish and a fabulous chicken and pasta dish last trip...yum.

Lunch at LTT was one of the best meals of our trip - big portions and everything was so good. Go, you will love it.
