who has eaten at the LTT for Lunch?? i've been there for dinner before and really enjoyed it. I was reading the lunch menu and it looked good. If you did eat there if you could give me your opinions. What did you have and how was it?? Service? Was is crowded? Thanks!

I would recommend reservations for lunch, there can be a lengthy wait without them. The lunch food is very good, IMO. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again is the hamburger. It was OK, but everything else is so much better.

Both the pot roast and the turkey are great. :) An added plus for us is that it is NOT a character meal.

I had lunch at the LTT in May and it was my favorite meal of the week. I usually like to do my big meal of the day at lunch time and this place was great. There weren't many people there at 11:30 AM, so I was seated right away. I had the salad as an appetizer and the pot roast with mashed potatoes as my entree and the pound cake with pecan sauce for dessert. Everything was really good, so much so, that I've made ADRs there for my November trip, as well.

I preferred the lunch over the dinner - foodwise and servicewise. I had the crabcakes, salmon & spagetti squash, and the apple tart for desert. It was all delicious! Going back again in September!!

We ate there in June at 2:30 and had a great meal. DH and DS13 had burgers, which they said were very good. They were huge. DD9 and DS5 both had kids mac & cheese with chicken noodle soup and fruit cups. They got more food than they could finish. I had the salmon that is served on grilled pumpkin bread with squash and a little watercress salad. It was one of the yummiest entrees of the trip. We had excellent service. We got drink refills without asking and food came promptly. We can't wait to go back.

We went for lunch in June. You definitely needed an ADR--people were being turned away at the door. DH got the Pilgrim's Feast, a scaled down version of the normal family style dinner. It had turkey only and he was able to substitute mac 'n cheese for the stuffing. It doesn't come with salad or rolls like the dinner does either. DS ordered the sliced turkey meal which was supposed to come with mashed potatoes--they let him substitute the potatoes for mac 'n cheese as well. I absolutely love the salad dressing they use at dinner so I had the Declaration Salad (same one they serve at night) as well as the Tavern Fried Cheese. I loved the fried cheese.

As soon as we got back from our trip and looked over our ADRs for free DDP in August we made a change to add Liberty Tree for lunch--can't wait for that delicious fried cheese again.

That is exactly what I am planning to have there in Sept.!

Last year we went for lunch and we really enjoyed it. I had the crabcake (best I ever had), William Penn Pasta (good, but mot my favorite), and Griddled poundcake (delicious)! Hubby had the crabcake, pot roast (he said it was great) and the poundcake. Dds had 1) the "just dip it", which she really enjoyed, and 2) mac and cheese (which she ALWAYS enjoys). The atmosphere is really nice, too. Nothing overly exciting, but nice and cool and quiet. Really a welcome break in the middle of a hot day! Enjoy!

We did this last year and had the pilgrims feast for lunch. It was awesome. The food was nice & hot and tasted very good. It wasn't too crowded for lunch and it made for a pleasant semi-quiet lunch. It's was very relaxing. I'd highly recommend it for lunch.
