We would like to try LTT but my son would not like the food at the character dinner so we are considering lunch which has a regular menu.

Has anyone done this? If so how was it?

Thanks!

Our 2 favorite places for lunch in MK are LTT and The Plaza.

Both allow you to sit down in the AC and enjoy a delicious, relaxed meal.

The kids were happy at both places. :thumbsup2

One of our favorite places to eat at WDW is Liberty Tree for lunch. They have a great selection for lunch (ask for the rolls!), and the atmosphere is warm and subdued. Delicious food and a quiet retreat from the park all rolled into one ... perfect!

We found their lunch to be wonderful. Very fresh food and a nice change from all the CS. It's a good place to relax and enjoy a break. Their sandwiches were awesome.

Lunch at the LTT is one of my favorite meals at WDW as well. The menu, while not huge, is bigger than many other WDW restaurants and the variety is interesting. All of the food I have had there has been really good. Service is always excellent and the atmosphere is nice, cool and fairly quiet for Disney.

We had lunch there in January, it was a really nice relaxing meal that we all enjoyed.

DD had the burger, she loves burgers and this one passed the test

I had the clam chowder and a crab cake. The crab cake was a little salty, I like salt, so it must have been really salty, but the sauce was good and overall it was very tasty.

DH had the pot roast and being a New Englander is picky about his pot roast, he really enjoyed it and said he would order it again.

DS had the "sandwich heard round the world" (or something like that) he liked it alot and still mentions it as being one of the better lunches we had.

We did not have dessert and only DH ordered a soft drink, the rest of us drank water. W/tip this meal was about $60.00, which we didn't think was too bad considering we all had a good meal and enjoyed the atmosphere.

I would definately do lunch again.

we always eat here for a very late lunch we try to get the last sit day time before the dinner hour starts. We love the pilgrims feast and the pot roast. If we get hungry later we always find great snacks in the kingdom. We like the lunch better than the dinner

we always have a lunch here - crab cakes and the turkey dinner - yum!

And don't forget the Butter Griddled Pound Cake for dessert.

do you need an adr for the lunch, or is it first come first serve? I have never eaten there.

Most of the times I have gone it has been crowded. I am usually there in May. The place is quite busy when they open. I am not sure how it is later but many people who have walked up at opening have to wait 30 minutes or more.

We went here last April for lunch and we loved it! We had the fried cheese for the appetizer and then we both had the Tri-Corner sandwich (roast beef, swiss cheese, horseradish cream sauce...) and thought it was excellent. The service was really great too. We went there with no reservations and only had about a 5 minute wait (around 11:30am)

We are planning on going back in June for lunch, but making reservations.

(I want to try the pound cake!!)

Enjoy!!

We had lunch there during our trip in Oct/Nov. It was really good. We were on the dining plan. It was our youngest dds birthday and they brought out a cake for her. They did not even charge us extra for it, just counted it as our dessert. The food was very good; my wife and I had the turkey/stuffing meal and it was great.

We had lunch there in February, and really enjoyed it, it is a nice place to relax, and get out of the heat. We did not think that the prices were bad at all, and the food was very tasty.
