Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch?

Lunch is THE best at LTT! We always eat there twice during our stay.

Make sure you ask for the bread. They used to deliver it to the table, but now you must ask for it. They serve it with honey butter (and they used to serve applebutter-not sure if they still do). The honey butter is so good.

The Fresh from the Harbor - cider-cured salmon on griddled pumpkin bread with butternut vinaigrette is great. They used to have a pork chop entree that was out of this world.

I have reservations at 2:00 on Saturday, April 15th. I am hoping to eat lunch and then watch the parade. Should this time workout?

I think we had a 2:30 once and got to watch the parade while we were eating. Only the windows have simulated antique glass (thick and wavy), so it was a bit hard to see. There were very few people in the LTT at this time. We also go up to watch by the back door out of the LTT a few times.

We also prefer lunch there over dinner. The food is better and the atmophere is much nicer at lunch. The crabcakes are very good, as is the Colony Salad (chicken, apples, pecans, and smoked cheddar) and pot roast. We also love the Chocolate Liberation Cake (lava cake with raspberry sauce).

Around 2 pm. DBF loves the turkey with stuffing, potatoes, etc. and I usually have the pot roast.

We were done in plenty of time to claim a place on the steps out front to watch the parade. It is just relaxing to sit down out of the crowds and have a nice meal.

I am assuming you all mean the 3:00 parade..... When we were there last they had the parade at 3,4 & 5 (different times for different days). If my schedule for last year remains the same for this year we will be trying for the 3:00 parade. (I hope that made sense :confused3 )
Anyway..sounds like I need to make ADRs for 2:00 in order to be out for the 3:00 parade...correct????

during our last trip the benefits of having a sit down lunch over a counter service lunch. Having someone wait on you while you sit and ejoy the AC is great! The menu at the Liberty Tree is very good.
Highly recommended!
