Hi,

On several other threads, members have raved about lunch at LTT. We've been there several times for the dinner but have not tried their lunch menu.

I just made an ADR for lunch there on our June trip and would love to hear recommendations for your favorite meal at LTT. I've looked at the menu and lots of things sound YUMMY.

Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

We have eaten there the last two years for lunch, and have LOVED it. The Fresh from the Harbor entree is wonderful. And DH thought the same about the New England Pot Roast. We went with a group of 7 last year, and everyone enjoyed their meal.

I was planning to do a different restaurant in MK this September, but looking at their menu again, I may have to just go back to LTT!!:hourglass

we always get the pilgrim's feast (turkey dinner) at lunch (starting with the crab cakes appetizer!) - really good

My DH always orders the Pot Roast and he loves it! I tried the William Penn Pasta and it was very good but way too much food, it could easily be split up between two people.
When we return in June we will probably order the same again..
This resturant is wonderful for lunch a nice place to get away from the midday heat and crowds.

I agree - Pot Roast or William Penn pasta. This was a truly nice place to have lunch. Loved it!

If you like roast beef sandwiches, then the Tri-Corner Sandwich is the BEST!!! Three of us got it last time and we all LOVED it. In fact, my Mom (one of whom got it when we were together) went back this past fall and ordered it again. She loved it all over again. We will definitely be going back for lunch this coming June and can you guess what I am going to order???

We LOVE LTT for lunch! In fact, we've never eaten dinner there!

We like to start with the Declaration Salad...yummy vinagrette!

The Sandwich Heard Round The World is our favorite, but as others have stated, it's SO much food that we tend to split it. The Pilgrim's Feast is great too, but too hot a meal for us in the middle of the day (we go in July).

The Buttered Griddled Pound Cake is lovely, as is the Liberty Shortcake.

Can't wait to go back!

Below you will find a review of our dining experience from our December 2005 trip. We had a special guest with us. Tux, a Beanie Baby Penguin, was our trip mascot. Enjoy! Maggie

Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern we had an ADR at 2:45pm. The food was wonderful, but for anyone on a low salt diet please beware. The chef there seems to love his/her salt. While I don't mind food that is a bit on the salty side, some people might have a problem here. The food was all very tasty and we would definately dine here again, but I thought that someone out there might want to know. Gabby and I both tried the Creamy Potato and Bacon Soup. Yum! It was quite filling too. I opted to try the Maryland Crabcake as an entree and Gabby had the Colony Salad. The crabcake was huge and was so good. I can honestly say that it was the best crabcake that I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot of them in my lifetime because they are about my all time favorite seafood item. Gabby's salad was very fresh and she loved the way that every item complimented the next in the salad.
Tux's picks from the plates: The crabcake and the apples and pecans from the salad. He loved the soup too, but it was just a little bit too salty to want much more than he had of it.

I have tried a lot of crab cakes all around WDW, and the LTT crab cake is the yummiest!

For our lunch in August, I plan on ordering the crab cake and a small salad for my entree - then the Carmel Apple Tart with cinnamon ice cream. That thing is huge! And I was bummed that I couldn't even make a dent in it because of the sandwich I ordered. Not this time! It's all about the tart!

Both my kids also loved the Tavern Fried cheese - which was fried cheddar along with the usual fried mozzerella.

**Hey Tag Fairy** I'm always talkin' 'bout that Carmel Apple Tart - how about a tag saying I'm its biggest fan!!!!?????

I always order the turkey dinner, but DH swears by the pot roast!

The pound cake is to die for - we both agree on that!

Thanks so much for all of the replies. Sounds like there are lots of grat choices at LTT for lunch. I think DH and I will both order something different so we can sample at least two different items.

Can't wait!

Hope this helps...we enjoyed our lunch here very much!!

The Colony salad is yummmmmmmm!

I second the Colony Salad...I get it everytime we eat at LTT. DH usually gets the Pilgrims Feast, DD15 a burger and DD12 the fried cheese. Its a tradition that we do LTT for lunch on our first full MK day.:)

I know this is an old thread but I ran into it searching LTT. I am thinking of making a lunch ADR here in December. Would this be a good birthday lunch for an 11 year old girl? The menu sounds like it would be something she would like but I was curious to seee if others like it and also if I could get a b-day cake for her here. Has anyone ever gotten a cake here before? TIA!
