Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner

I know Pete and Ryno just did a review of Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. I am just wondering if anyone has experienced this restaurant for dinner? I just made a reservation for December 30th, and it looks like it is served family style instead of individual entrees like at lunch. Is that the case? Did you like the food if you have been there at dinner?

I've been there for dinner several times and really enjoy it. The meal is served family style and is all you can eat. The service has always been good too.

The food is pretty good at dinner. We are heading back there in a little over a month for one of our dinners. It is "all you care to eat"/"family style". We actually like it a little better than their lunch. My DW is a little upset that they serve a different kind of dessert now but it's similar to what it was before.

I would look over the menu and see if it is what you would want to eat.

I am confused by their review. It looks like they had the family style meal but is this not only for dinner?

I was not fond of lunch, but I like dinner. It is not my favorite meal, but I love the atmosphere.

LTT Lunch is a la carte from a menu.
LTT Dinner is all you care to eat served "family style". The menu changed recently. It is now turkey & stuffing, sliced ham, & pot roast. The sides remained the same but dessert changed from a cobbler to a tart.

My family/group just ate there 7/22. We had not been to WDW in 5 years and LTT was always one of my favorites. This trip, not so much. It was just okay. I love the strawberry vinaigrette salad dressing. Other than that, I was disappointed. Others in my group liked it just fine. I really did not care for the dessert at all and the service was not good. LTT is now on my personal "not in a hurry to go back" list. I'll eat there if the rest of my party wants to but I'm not going to suggest eating there. I was disappointed in several restaurants on this trip. It just seemed like they had gone downhill a bit. I've even marked my all time favorite Boma off my list for the next trip. Don't let my experience sway you though. There are lots of folks that love it! We all have our own preferences and opinions. If I had listened to others, I would have skipped BOG lunch which turned out to be my favorite counter service this trip.

We ate at LTT in May for dinner (pre minor menu changes) and found it to be 'fine'. The environment was nice (Colonial style setup) and if you like a prefixed 'Thanksgiving' style menu, then you will probably like this place. The service was fine. I found the food to be just 'okay'. Nothing special IMO. Pretty basic menu. I thought the salad and dressing was good. Didn't care for the dessert. Most memorable part for me at LTT is how they call you for your table. They announce your last name and where you're from.

The last time I ate at LTT was two years ago, and it was delicious. Last year, we definitely would have gone back, but they were closed due to refurbishments. This year, we are heading back, even though I am disappointed with the menu changes. We loved the now non-existent cornbread, Johnny Appleseed Cake (I normally don't love cranberries so it was a pleasant surprise as far as how much I liked it!), and the fabulously flavorful roast beef. I am interested in trying the pot roast, though, since so many people love it at lunch. I may ask for it on a different plate so that the "juice" doesn't get all over the other meats. I think it's still a good bet if you love Thanksgiving foods!
