Is there anything else they can offer to kids there? Chicken nuggets or fries can they serve at dinner for fussy children? Have one that will love the food there, but two that nuggets and fries would be great for them.

Same goes with Diamond Horseshoe - I see it's open during free dining and is the same meal, from LTT's kitchen.
thanks!

Because everything is served family style with a pre-planned menu, I don't think the kitchen will do any additional cooking. Also, I don't see chicken nuggets on the LTT or DH menus, not even at lunchtime, so that makes it even less likely.

Since everyone at the table will be charged regardless of whether they eat or not, you might want to consider a different restaurant if there's nothing that your children will eat.

There have been instances when they have gotten nuggets and fries for picky eaters BUT more often than not it is not the case. You are going to be charged FULL price no matter what they eat.

Am I to understand that o Thanksgiving at home you fix them chicken nuggets and fries and they don't eat any turkey dressing or mashed potatoes? Boy, my momn would not have been cool with that. BTW they also have mac n' cheese. It is sponsored by Stouffers.

1) Kinda thought the same thing, unless a medical issue.
2) Sometimes specific conditons aggrevate pickiness.
3) But, more often than not, it is not medical.

We got mac n cheese for our picky eater there... while our DD was chowing down on as many green beans as she could get her hands on!! :rotfl2: My dandy iPhone app also shows Cheese Pizza as an option at LTT under "Kids' Complete Meals" as well...

If you recheck, that is under child's lunch menu. At dinner, it's family style, no real other options except for health needs.

Don't they have mac n' cheese at LTT? Is there ANY child who won't eat that?

I completely understand where you are coming from!

We were there August 1, 2010 and they were more than willing to make chicken nuggets and fries for our DS. It took awhile, so I would make the request as soon as you can. Our server told us that Disney understands the stress associated with travel & eating at different restaurants that might not always have something on the menu that appeals to all guests. Their goal is to make everyone leave full and happy.

If you ask politely, you will more than likely get a positive result...a little kindness goes a long way!!!

As for the mac n' cheese - they do have it, but my DD (who will eat pretty much anything) won't touch the stuff...and I tend to agree with her.

We have ADR's for LTT in early October. If it is really hot that day, the menu just seems a little heavy for my taste. I am just thinking pizza might be more appealing to me. We are 2 adults on the DDP. I consider myself a big kid. Do you think they would serve an adult pizza?? :confused3

They might if you ask but it will be a child's sized pizza and you will most likely be charged full price.

Oh, Sweety, if the menu doesn't fit your tastes, find another place to eat.

thanks for the replies.

Probably best for us to skip dinner there then and just stick with lunch.

No, it's not a medical thing. Daughter just hates turkey and stuffing. She'd probably find some other stuff to at least pick at and fill up on.

But my autistic son... just is nothing in the family style meal he'd eat at all. Odd, since he's a big eater and does great everywhere else, can always find stuff for him. But LTT probably only some green beens and all the tomatoes out of the salad would be all he'd be interested in. So thought I'd see if there are any other options there for picky kids.

We do Garden Grill a lot - a favorite of all, which is sort of a similar meal - but at least for the kids there are fries and chicken nuggets - well, now they changed to drumsticks which he LOVES.

We have not been able to dine here either because the kids menu is so limited! My son (aspergers) has lots of sensory issues, and eats quite a variety of foods...but Mac n cheese is something that will NEVER touch his lips...in fact he gags at the smell and sight of it?!?!?! Also turkey yes he eats but only the leg on the holidays not a bland white flat piece of dry meat. Gravy Nope. I have been dying to eat here again to get the pot roast, but just wish they had something else for kids. Guess we will be back to the Plaza on our second MK day. They have a great kids menu. Crystal palace has a great selection too. Hope this helps someone:rotfl2:
