Has anyone eaten dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern since they removed the characters? Is it still a family style "Thanksgiving-y" meal, or do you now order off a menu like you did at lunch? Any thoughts about your experience there?

:wave2: We have eaten here quite a bit and it has been very good every time! Even when I got something that wasn't cooked to my liking they did everything they could to fix the problem and when it wouldn't be ready in time for me to finish eating with my family they gave me another choice of a meal and gave me my dinner that I had originally ordered to take with me at no cost! That's not the norm at Disney, free anything!:rotfl: We always opt for the latest ressie in the afternoon,as close to dinnertime as possible. The reason we do this is we still pay the lunch menu price and we have eaten dinner early so we can enjoy the rest of the night at the Magic Kingdom! :wizard: The only drawback to lunch is no characters. They still have the Thanksgiving-y family style meal. Hope this long winded answer helps!!!:rotfl2:

To us, this is one of the plainest menus in a TS restaurant at Disney. That is not a compliment.

Without the characters in their neat colonial outfits, we won't be returning.

Since they got rid of the characters, I with they would go with a regular menu similar to the lunch menu instead of the AYCE Thanksgiving meal. I liked that meal when we ate there a few years ago but that is a heavy meal in hot weather.

I agree, the Characters were the draw for our visit to Liberty Tree and now that they are gone, I would prefer a non-family style meal such as the lunch menu. IMO, the thanksgiving meal tasted no better than a frozen Thanksgiving dinner.

I won't be returning for dinner there. I too wish they would do a more extensive version of their lunch menu.
