has anyone been to dinner at the LTT before mickey's not so scary halloween party recently?? Do the characters still dress up??? What characters are usually there?? Is there any additional theming to go with the halloween party??? Also how was the dinner itself??? I think i remember reading it's family style and they'll bring you as much as you all want to your table. Also i've read different things as to what the desert usually is. Thanks for any information!

Well I have been but it has been a while back, they are dressed in their regular get up that they always have on. I have my res there before my MNSSHP on OCT the 9th.

We did LTT before MNSSHP last year...The characters were dressed in Halloween" attire....The basic costume was the same but they added some masks and other items to make them fit with the Halloween feel...I do not remember there being any decorations....

Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale are usually there....

Yes, it is family style...They bring more of what ever you want...You can also order chicken fingers if you have kids...The chicken is not on the menu but they will bring it if you ask for it...The dessert is very good...It is vanilla ice cream with a warm apple pie FILLING (not a pie)...YUMMY!!!

We ate there before MNSSHP in 2005. The food was excellent and we ended up telling our server to not bring any more food!!
I'm not sure if you are bringing children, but what we did with our DS (who was almost 5) and our DD (who was 7) was we rented a locker since we were in MK earlier that day and stored their costumes so they didn't have to eat in (and possibly stain) their costumes. My DD was Tinkerbell and my DS was a Shadow Ranger. We had dinner and then got the costumes out of the locker, went to the baby care station by CP and changed them in one of the rooms there. There was a room that had about 4-5 changing tables in there so it was easy to lay their costumes on that table and change them. It was so much nicer than a restroom. It had carpeting on the floor so they could stand in their socks and you didn't have to worry about the floor being all yucky.
Hope that helps.
Have a great time:thumbsup2

I was going to post this exact message. You will have a blast.
All I can add is that you should study up :teacher: on how to tell which is Chip and which is Dale.

I wasn't doing it this time, but I changed my mind and called Saturday to see if I could get in before the MNSSHP, they said they didn't have anything open. I transferred to buy my tix to the party and the CM told me there was a "special" thing going on during the party. She got me into that, I didn't really ask any details, she just said they dress up and do some other special stuff. It could be the same as it always is and they just dress up but she made it sound different. We are going at 7pm but it will cut into our party time, so I will probably get tickets for another MNSSHP while we are there.
