It seems as if this is a sit-down dinner. Are you able to order off the regular menu? Or are your options only the carved meats? How was character interaction? Food? Would you go back? We haven't been to this one yet and I would appreciate any info please. Thanks.

This meal is served "family style" which means they bring all you can eat to your table in serving dishes, much like you would have family dinners at home. When we were there we had Turkey, Ham, & Roast Beef. Macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, dressing, and salad. Dessert was cherry cobbler. The food was decent, but we were there more for the character interaction, which was incredible!! If you are expecting a gourmet meal then this is not for you, but if you're going for the experience you'll enjoy it all!! :teeth:

My family really enjoys the food here. Comfort food to the max! I generally find the character interaction here the best, one nice thing is that unlike a buffet you aren't getting up and down and worrying that while you fill your plate you will miss a character. I also the love the fact that the characters are uniquely dressed in colonial attire. The restaurant itself is very pretty on the inside. This is the perfect place to eat and then walk right out and get a spot of Spectro. We generally see, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

To answer your questions, you can't order from a menu (at least as far as I know)...you get what they serve...but it's not a bad thing!! :)

LOVED the characters!!! (see my reply in the other thread).

We thought the food was REALLY GOOD!! Comfort food, tasty, NORMAL! :rotfl:

We will DEFINITELY go back every time we go to Disney. I don't think DH would let us NOT go! :)

We also really enjoy the food at LTT, and we really like the fact that we are served (after a long day at the MK) and don't have to get up for a buffet. The food is very good, but if you are looking for gourmet, this isn't the place. We had no problems getting seconds (and thirds of the potatoes and dressing!). I agree that this is one of the best character meals for character intervention. We are doing the dinner again in January.

We go to LTT everytime we visit WDW- the atmosphere is great, the decor, milk glass windows. The characters visit often and are very charming. The food is actually very good- the salad and strawberry vinigarette dressing is excellent-the veggies are usually green beans, but I have asked for and gotten fresh steamed broccoli. The mashed potatoes and mac and cheese are delicious and creamy, the stuffing is also very good, not overly seasoned.
You will not be disappointed! Dessert is usually cobbler (cherry or apple) and ice cream-always delicious. I always feel great eating here after a plethora of hot dogs and burgers-finally some veggies!

Thanks everyone. Amazing that we've so many times and this is our first try there! I'm looking forward to it now. Del :sunny:
