Hi: Just wondering if anyone has tried Liberty Tree tavern and how they liked it.

Deb.

We have dined there for dinner two times now and it is a definite must-do on each trip from now on! We love the Thanksgiving style meal and the characters are dressed in period costume. It's so different than many of the other character meals. Definitely a top pick!

We've only eaten there for dinner but we've eaten there 4 times in the last 7 years and loved it every single time. The food is very good: just like Thanksgiving (here in the states anyway). 2-3 different types of meat, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, vegetables, rolls, and really good sweet butter for the rolls. The character interaction is excellent, and the atmosphere is pretty neat too. Even though the restaraunt is in the middle of the Magic Kingdom, it seems a lot calmer than you'd expect. It's pretty much an obligatory dinner every time we go.

Thanks all, and yes that is just like our thanksgiving dinner here in Canada. I would rather eat food that I am familiar with. We are eating here just before spectromagic.

I don't know whether they are at LTT, but Chip and Dale are always at Chef Mickey's.

Every single time we've been the characters have been Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale and Pluto

Ditto for us. I loved the family style dining and the character interaction was wonderful. :flower:

Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale and Pluto is correct, but the food is bad, the stove-top stuffing has got to go!

This place is quickly becoming a tradition with my family. My ILs have even been there on the trips they have taken without us!

The food is good. It's not great, but it's tasty and it fills you up. The character interaction is great. Meeko the raccoon used to be there and he put on such a show- he stole our rolls and wouldn't give them back until Minnie came over and scolded him. Chip (or maybe it was Dale) flirted with me- we all had so much fun.

I think the food is good we eat there every trip about 3-4 times per year and I like the stuffing

This was just okay for me.. The turkey was very salty. We saw Minnie, Chip and Dale, Pluto and Goofy. This was the week of 11/5.

We LOVE LTT and go every time we go to WDW. It's a tradition for us now and we would really miss it if we didn't get to go!!

For about the same price, you can get a much better dinner at some place like Boma, but it's all about location, no? It's probably one of the best choices for a MK full-service. The food was OK...not great. I agree that the turkey was on the salty side. The honey butter for the rolls was excellent, however. And the dessert was yummy.

We have never been for dinner, but LTT for lunch is one of my favorites. It has a normal menu then and a number of meals I just love. It is almost never very busy and always a great place to sit and have a relaxing meal.

When it comes down to it we just never really feel up to the set dinner menu and always do lunch.

I highly recomend it for lunch though.

This is an excellent restaurant just before spectromagic. We had dinner there this summer and timed it perfectly to walk out on the porch and see the beginning of the parade without having to wait. You will love it! My family ejoyed it so much we ate there twice during our vacation.

My daughter and I loved LTT!! It was so fun, Goofy was in an awful big hurry that night, but all the other characters stuck around a little bit longer. The food was fabulous, dd ate all the mac and cheese, and she really loved the cherry cobbler. It was also my birthday so they gave me a birthday cupcake and sang to me at the table. I also got a birthday card signed by all of the characters. We might do it again, but we also want to try Chef mickey's.

The food is wonderful! We had a lot of fun when we went, its definately one of our favorite places in Disney to eat. We ended up eating so much, that we never had room for dessert  . Oh well, we made up for it later with other yummy stuff in the park :teeth:

Have any vegetarians gone here for dinner? If so, what's the scoop?

I think vegiartians miss out money wise on one price no mater how much you eat meals. Meat cost so much more then non meat meals.

Same with people who don't drink alchoal a places where it is included in the price. (one reason we haven't done the lula yet, we don't want to pay for it if we aren't going to drink it. )

Having said that I think they have a lot to eat for vegitraians. Next time we go I will have to mention on the PS that DD and I can't eat milk or eggs (due to allgergies. I hear they are good about letting you know what it is in.
