I have not seen much posted on this character meal. Is it a good choice? We are a family of 6 plus grandparents. Kids are ages 1, 3, 9 and 11. We have Crystal Palace scheduled for breakfast. I was thinking a late lunch/early dinner here. What do u think?

Many folks love this restaurant (especially lunch), however we didn't enjoy our dinner there. My girls especially didn't like anything.

So I'd pick lunch. Lunch has gotten consistantly great reviews however, lunch has not characters.

It was nice. The characters spent a lot of time with the kids. The food wasn't so great though. They bring it out family style and there is plenty of it. Turkey ham and beef, stuffing, the usual thanksgiving type meal. If you don't mind that then you and the kiddos will have a great time. :thumbsup2

We loved it the food was good and the character interaction was great! If you are planning on doing both in the same day, I would pick dinner, for the characters but also you might be quite full after breakfast and not ready to eat at lunch time. Everyone has their opinions, but I think you will find a lot of people that enjoy the dinner. Again, we loved it!

We've eaten at both restaurants. When our kids were younger, they really enjoyed both the Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree Tavern. Now that they're 14 and 15, we don't go to the Crystal Palace, or for that matter, any of the buffets (except Bomas). However, they still enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern for both lunch and dinner. I think the food at LTT is just OK, but we enjoy the atmosphere. I think the grandparents may enjoy LTT more than CP.

We have ressies at the LTT for the MNSSHP in October because the characters dress in costumes. Good luck with your decision.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Went for dinner here and the food was really good, especially the salad. It had a strawberry vinagrette dressing which was really tasty. The characters were dressed up really cute, like colonial times.

We ate at LTT for Dinner last September. The food was good (not great), the atmosphere was fantastic. The characters really took their time with my girls, we will be eating there again this November.

Great replies! Thanks everyone! I was actually thinking of this later in the week on a night when we are going to be there for spectro and wishes. Our trip dates are Oct 13-20.

Again thank you!

I love dinner at LTT:cool1: It's one of my favorites. I especially like that it is served family style so you can relax. Call me crazy but I like the food. :rotfl: The service was great, never had to wait for a refill on anything. This is one restaurant I would love to go to again.

my family loves the LTT character dining. The food is very filling and they have great character interaction.

We just ate dinner there last Monday night (a party of 8).

It was my MIL's b-day & I had ordered a cake.

We had a great time.
The servers threw Mickey confetti on the table & came out & sang happy b-day to my MIL. What a great night!! They also gave her a b-day card signed by some of the characters.

Good food, we were just there last sunday. The characters were excellent and playful. The food was delicious, except for the beef ( ). Also it was my mom's birthday and they brought out a card and cupcake from the characters and announced it to the entire restuarant, which was great. Another plus is that you can step right outside the restaurant and snag an excellent place to watch Spectromagic as it goes in to Fronteirland. I would highly recommend this place!!

We love LTT! It was wonderful! The food and the character interaction were the best of our trip last month. We are going back again next trip! You will love it!:)

I love the food! Pretty good, basic stuff- meats, mac and ch, stuffing, salad, cobbler. The characters are great too. We have been there several times and really loved it!

We ate at the LTT in 2005 and didn't care for the Stoffer's microwave food. We don't plan to go back, unless they change the menu. I would give it a try and then you know if you would like to go again.

we always have lunch at LTT, every trip!

crabcakes, pilgrim's feast (turkey dinner), chocolate cake

best part? no characters interrupting you!!!
