Anyone ever have just lunch at The Liberty Tree, no characters? Is it worth it? How's the food?

Okay, one BUMP and I'm throwing in the towel. C'mon - anyone with a Liberty Tree lunch experience?

We almost always have lunch at LTT on our MK day. The food is good. I like the burger and DD usually gets the turkey dinner. We try to go late .. like around 1:45 - 2:30, so the crowd is thinner.

The only complaint I have is the service. They are just not as friendly as many CMs. Some of the ladies at the host stand are down right surly.

we did last august on our honeymoon last day. we had already checked out of the hotel and wanted a wholesome meal, and it was great. so good that when we ent in february we booked the character meal.

I had a wonderful salad and my husband got something like a pot roast (can't quite remember) but we were both happy and the wait for a walk up was short.

My only complain with LTT is that the bathrooms always seem to have a line. arg!

Cool Disney Cat is right. The CMs are not as friendly as most...like the people at any fast food restaurant would be. They do their job, that's it.

However, we loved the food for our no-kids trip. Went for lunch, nice and quiet, loaded up on roast beef and mashed potatoes...Heaven! Allearsnet.com has the recipe. Very good.

We ate there for lunch once and it was okay. I think I was disappointed because we love the dinner there and the lunch just wasn't as good. Our expectations were too high.

We just had lunch there last week. We wanted a very late lunch so our ADR was for 2:45 pm. We got in a little early, were eating as the parade was going by, and finished after the parade crowds had cleared out. It was perfect timing for us.

Dd 4 had the mac n cheese which was the same Stouffer's mac n cheese that's served at dinner. It came with raw carrot chips and a big blueberry muffin. The muffin was very yummy!

Dd8 had the corn dog nuggets which she loved! Her meal had the same blueberry muffin and carrots that came with her sister's meal.

Dh and I shared the William Penn pasta which was penne pasta with chicken, mushrooms and spinach tossed in a creamy marinara. It was absolutely heavenly!

For dessert we all shared the Grilled Poundcake which had vanilla ice cream and a pecan butter sauce with it. It was very good, too! That was the whole reason I'd made the ADR for lunch. I think I may have hyped up the poundcake too much in my mind because, while it was very good, it wasn't as outstanding as I'd dreamed it to be.

We ate there for the first time 2 weeks ago, and really enjoyed the lunch, it was nce to sit down and get out of the heat, my kids had the maccaroni and cheese, and the turkey dinner, my husband the roast beef sandwich, and I had the turkey sandwich (I know they have fancier names). Everything was very good.

Our lunch at Liberty Tree was excellent; we all loved the food. Make sure you ask for the rolls, as they are divine.

Thanks everyone. I am so glad that I made a reservation there now! :goodvibes

We LOVE lunch at LTT. The home cooked food is yummy. I have yet to try dinner here because I am nervous about the "Stouffer's thing".

What is "The Stouffers Thing"? Someone posted that they do Stouffers Mac & Cheese for lunch, but what is up with dinner?
