I need to pick one for lunch one day. Which would you choose or would you pick something else? Thanks I call in the am so I need to decide soon.

I'm no help. Those are the 2 I'm trying to decide between for lunch at MK too.

Sorry, no help either but the thread title got me to look as I was debating the same thing. I ended up choosing Liberty Tree, but wanted to see if I made a good choice.

ETA: I chose LTT as All-ears visitors had it rated slightly higher than Tony's (8.3 vs 7.1). The 8.3 was w/o characters. FYI: The lunch at LTT was rated 8.8.

There are a couple of threads about each:

and from the rumors board:

I enjoyed LTT last time we went, but will not go back for a while unless they
bring back the character dining, I enjoyed the food, I have not been to Tony's yet.

How about the Plaza? Both Tony's and LTT have gotten mixed reviews, but the Plaza is always recommended. Also, I know it's CS, but we absolutely love Columbia Harbour House. Their clam chowder is wonderful!! If you eat upstairs it's very quiet. Nice respite at MK.

If you have a Lady and the Tramp fan in your party, I'd go with Tony's. The setting is adorable. I really enjoyed our late lunch there last year. Very quiet and peaceful. Lunch is also the only time they serve their really yummy flatbread pizzas.

That said, we have both LTT and Tony's booked for lunch on different days of our upcoming trip. I've never eaten at LTT before, so we'll see what I think of it. I'm hopeful. :goodvibes

Hope you have a great trip! :wizard:

i haven't eaten at tony's but i can tell you that the penna pasta w/chicken at the liberty tree is AMAZING!!!!

i'd pick Tony's... the creme brulee is SO good, atmosphere is a 10. One of my fav spots!

I've eaten at the Plaza, tony's, and LTT. I would have to recommend LTT. I prefer it over the other two. And characters for dinner are supposed to be back in April. Tony's is good but a close second. And the Plaza is also good but it's only sandwiches and burgers. I have ADRs for both Tony's and LTT for my upcoming honeymoon.

I don't care about the character meal so it doens't bother me that they are not there anymore... We have never done LTT but my parents go every year and love it!

we always eat lunch at Liberty Tree. When we are on the dining plan we pay out of pocket because we feel the lunch prices are reasonable and it would be a waste of a TS meal.
We enjoy Tony's for dinner, but not so much for lunch.

Tony's. :thumbsup2 Now if the LTT goes back to a character meal then it would be hard to choose.

I would pick LTT for lunch over Tony's. We have eaten at Tony's 3 times over the year hoping for a better outcome and each time we are disappointed. I know others love it but it has just never been great for us. LTT's lunch menu is pretty good. I used to like the dinner there with the characters but with no characters I would only go for lunch.

That said, I would choose The Plaza for lunch over either of them. We only 'found' it last year and I am so sorry that we had never been before. Can't wait to go back!

The only complaint I had with LTT was that we were sitting under the air conditioning vent. It was sooooo cold. The food got cold fast. The food that was hot was very good.

Tony's, not so good. Didn't feel well after I ate there, neither did the rest of the family.

Thanks everyone. I went with LTT. I can't now to get there and try all this good food. It's making me hungry.

we love LTT !!! we always get a great meal there but we are going to try tonys this year too we have never been there but it looks good:)

We did Tonys for lunch and it was good but I really want to try that salad from Liberty Tree

Hmmm..I like them both a lot. But if I had to choose I would say LLT. I think the food is a bit better than Tony's. Great choices tho. GL!

We did Tonys for lunch and it was good but I really want to try that salad from Liberty Tree

the Colony Salad? I love it! I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but I think it's the perfect combination. :thumbsup2
