We've eaten at Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner, but we were looking for a non-character meal in the park this year, and the lunch menu at this restaurant looks really good. If you've eaten here for lunch, I'd love to hear your opinions.

Thanks in advance.

My husband and I ate at LTT for lunch in Oct, 2005. I had the pot roast and he had the turkey dinner. After a hectic morning at MK, LTT is the perfect place to cool off and have a relaxing, delicious lunch!!!!! :thumbsup2

We have eaten there every single trip for lunch in more years than I can remember. I love it! It is a relaxing place to stop for a quality meal and it is still in the middle of everything instead of on main street. I have found the turkey to be a bit dry. My husband has enjoyed the hamburgers and I tried the pasta last time and was pleased. I don't think you will be disappointed. In fact, I think the food is much better at lunch than what they serve for the char. dinner.

We love LTT for lunch! The food is delicious ... the pot roast is divine ... and there's a good choice of appetizers and desserts as well. Be sure to request the rolls (you have to ask for them). They're served warm, and with that honey-butter ... oh!

Things we loved:

Tavern cheese - fried cheddar & mozzerella
Pot Roast dinner
Hamburger
William Penn pasta
ever dessert we tried!

Thing I didn't go for:
Sandwich heard around the world - this had an unusual pesto (not a reg. pesto, much I love) that overpowered the whole sandwich.

Always have lunch here. Having tried every TS in MK, thois is by far the best. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

I've had lunch here only once so far, but I'd like to go again. I had 2 appetizers-soup and salad, no main course, because I wanted some rich-sounding dessert. But unfortunately, I was disappointed with the dessert, so next time I'll get a main course. Service and atmosphere were both pleasant and relaxing.

We have eaten lunch here several times. We really like it, especially going for the first seating for lunch. The food is pretty good (for a restaurant in the parks, ahem) and it's a nice casual atmosphere.

We love this restaurant and try to hit it lunch and dinner each trip. I love the lunch menu - Pilgrim's Feast :goodvibes

We had lunch there in January for DH's B-Day. They put 48 little glitter Mickeys and streamers on our table to help celebrate his 48th B-day. We enjoyed our lunch. Our DS likes the way they announce you for your seating. "Now seating the XXX family from Nevada" he got a kick out of it when he was 10 and again at 16, sometimes we are so easily amused :goodvibes

I had the clam chowder and a crab cake appetizer. I enjoyed this although the crab cake had pockets that were extremely salty, almost as if not mixed well enough. But overall enjoyable.

My DH had the pot roast and really liked it.

My DD had a burger, plain, nothing exciting but she enjoyed it.

DS had the Sandwich heard round the World and he liked it alot.

For dessert they brought my DH a cupcake w/candle and ice cream. We wanted funnel cakes so did not order dessert.

We had a good time and would return.

Thanks for everyone's opinion. Sounds like it's a go for LTT for lunch!

Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern is a bit of a hidden gem in our opinion. The dinner, since it’s a character meal, has always been popular, but lunch isn’t as busy. Do still make an ADR for it though.

We enjoy the menu very much at lunch, as well as the calm, relaxing atmosphere. The Colony Salad is my favorite entrée, and it’s outstanding. My husband adores the pot roast. We typically share the berry shortcake for dessert, and it is a very nice end to the meal—not too sweet or heavy.

The character dinner has become optional on our trips (we think the food has slipped a bit in recent trips), but the lunch is still a must-do for us.

We've always enjoyed lunch here, too. Unfortunately, last August, we didn't have the usual fabulous food. I had that "sandwich heard around the world" -and I just didn't enjoy it at all. In fact, I didn't take more than one bite. I'm sure the sandwich is very pleasing to some people, but it wasn't my thing. My husband loved his pot roast, though!! I usually get it also, but decided to branch out that time! Live and learn! My two boys were very disappointed with their macaroni and cheese because it came out looking like orange oatmeal - it was extremely mushy. They didn't take more than one bite. Sadly, it happened to be an "off service" day as well, and I wasn't able to order something else for the kids - or at least question whether or not the macaroni and cheese was supposed to look like orange jello. We got our drinks, our lunches, and our check. Our server pulled a disappearing act throughout our meal, and was always running in a different direction when I was looking for him. Oh, well.

However, that being said - we will go back. One bad time does not influence our decision. We always give our favorite spots another shot. It is USUALLY very relaxed, very delicious, and much fun.

Go for it.
