We will be at MK on December 3. It is our last night. I have a reservation for Liberty Tree Tavern at 6:10. Our plan was to make it for that time so we could do all we could until 6 and then eat and just enjoy the ambiance of the party and the atmosphere as we left. Can someone please confirm that we will be seated at 6:10. We will probably go in and check in for our table around 5:55.

From other threads I've read it sounds like we are fine and that we just have to leave directly after and can't linger in the shops, but I just wanted to confirm they will allow us to be seated. I can't imagine they wouldn't. It allowed me to make the reservation and it doesn't specify that I would have to have a party ticket. Also, it was allowing reservations up to 7 on the website. I think I am fine but I just wanted to confirm. Thanks

You need a reservation that begins before 6. It can be 5:55, but it cannot be after 6 because everything is closed to you after that time without a party ticket. Anyone can make a dining reservation at any time before they make a park reservation. It doesn't mean that it will be honored if you show up without one. I just looked up December 3 and they have reservations as late as 6:40. Those are for party guests. Beginning at 6pm they're checking for wristbands and ushering people out of the park and blocking lands so that those without wristbands cannot enter.

I get what you are saying but have had others tell me they had adr's for 6:10 to 6:15 and they were fine to eat. They just had to exit the park afterwards. Has anyone actually had this scenario to offer advice. I'm reading on other sites that people have and were fine.

I actually just got back on and was able to rebook for 6 pm. We'll check in at 5:50 for our 6 pm reservation.

You can check in up to 20 minutes early, so there should be no issue checking in and waiting just outside or inside the lobby. You'll then have to walk right to the exit after, but you can enjoy the decorations on your way out.

That changed pre-COVID when they designated BOG and CRT as the only restaurants that a party ticket was required as they stay open during party. They have completely different pages on which to book PARTY ticket holder dining.

All other restaurants will have shortened hours to a closing by 7 pm and are open to non-party guests.

If you book one of the others that will carry your meal past Party start time and you don't have tickets, there is a good chance you will be escorted by a CM to the front gates if you aren't dining on Main Street.

Ok that's really wild and doesn't make a whole lot of sense but I believe you.... I noticed that Liberty Tree has a reservation available as late as 6:40 that night and I just don't know how they're allowing guests to just hang out until then.

The party doesn’t start til 7. There’s an hour to clear the park between park closing & the official start of the party. Having dining until 7 allows day guests who might be in a ride line to finish their ride & still have dinner. However, after 6, no one will be able to enter any lines or shops without a party ticket. So after 6, guests will basically just be hanging out at the restaurant waiting for their adr. There are also lines of CMs stopping people without party tickets from moving into the different lands. So they might have to show their ADR on MDE to move into a different land to get to the restaurant.

MONEY MONEY MONEY

SO many guests there just for the day want to get every minute they can until six and then Disney will gladly take your money (big money with ADRs) filling all the restaurants during the hour they are clearing the park.

Old days there was no hour, the switch flipped at 7 but it was hard to clear the park and have party at same time. It is much easier for them this way, much less drama AND they can still make that money! 💰💰💰

Honestly no one is hanging out, coming from a ride, crossing the park, waiting at restaurant to be seated ... and it is the hour they are pushing folks out. It's a bit congested during that time as day guests hit blockades.

Skipper Canteen last year they asked whether you had party ticket at check in and made a note for the server. Those without, were handled differently than those with party wrist bands.

Personally I would not have felt like it was a relaxing meal being escorted out at the end to rows of CMs steering people out of the park… but everyone’s different.
