LG Dare Verizon Cell Phone

I have the Dare and just tried the free trial and really liked it. Still not sure I will buy - the main problem is the sun. It's so hard to see the screen when it's sunny out.

the crowd calendar just bumped up my numbers so now I am leaning more towards buying it.

try the free trial- took seconds to install. lasted 24 hours

Cool I would like to use it cause of some knee pain and don't want to walk across the parks and find out the lines are to long or no fastpasses. Did you get to use it the park.
Thanks :upsidedow

no - we are still in PA. Our trip isn't until May 13th

It was really cool. Had weather, wait times, listed rides with waits less than 30 min, Maps, bathrooms, restaurants and even games to play while waiting in line.

Very easy to use. I think I will get it. It's already on my phone. I just have to hit buy.

seriously try the trial for free and let me know what you think.

when is your trip?

oh and it does list if there are still FP available

I used it on a Versa this weekend. The free 1 day trial. I must say I enjoyed it. It gave me accurate wait times and FP times. There was a time that it was off 5 minutes on the wait time though.

Also, I noticed it you weren't in the same park, say in MK and looking at DHS times, often the info would be "high Demand" or Moderate, or See Now text for wait times and the FP would say Limited Availability. I think it was a glitch or maybe on purpose to not show accurate times if you weren't in the park.

When we went to DHS, then the times would display.

i liked the fact you could set reminders to view shows or events, look at the next times to plan your day.

the only downside I hated on the Versa were these:
1) screen VERY hard to see in the sun.
2) wait time in other park issue
3) touch screen. It took some repeated pressing to make it work, also, scrolling down to see the attractions was very hard. i had to use my sunglasses legs to scroll it down much easier. if you have a flip or slider with a directional pad on the keyboard, then its better. i installed it on a coworker's enV Touch and it worked better.

i think I'll get it the next time I go, but since my renewal is up in 3 weeks on my SP, Imight wait until after blackout to do it. no use paying $10 for 3 months I won't use it for.

So yes, I recommend it. It helped us not rush. normally i'd have huffed it to a popular attraction to get on thinking the line was long, but with the app, many times I'd see 20minutes and the FP was only 30 minutes in advance, so I could get on another ride with the kids before heading over across the park. So the time factor and maximizing your day was great.

Thanks for the review!! The only thing holding me back is being able to see the screen in the sun. How bad was that?

Its workable. holding a hand over it, angling yourself to not have the sun right on the screen, standing in the shade (best).

Its not really as bad as making a normal call in the sun with the fingerprint magnets these phones are.

you get used to it fairly quickly. But again, if you can stand in the shade, or wipe the screen and hold it so your body give it some shade is best.

Thanks.

I am starting to hate this phone. the touch screen is actually a pain. I feel like you have to push the buttons over and over before they work. Glad to hear it worked ok. I think I will get it - hey it's only $10 -:rotfl: after how much you spend on the vacation what's a few more dollars - esp if it's a help.

It also has the dining menus for the dining places too. Shows temperatures, park hours, special events, etc.

All the things an iPhone needs 5 apps to do. Maybe that is why Apple needs such a large App store.
