Careful now, we don't want this thread censored. That statement has a whole new meaning on the roadways of America.

Evil Princess, I have it on good authority that OT once owned a Burberry scarf and lost it. Of course he had no clue what kind of scarf it was as he received it as a gift. And no it was not attached to any Lexi.![]()
But that is just our little secret, OK.![]()
Yeah, but didn't Opie and Anthony get fired this year?Careful now, we don't want this thread censored. That statement has a whole new meaning on the roadways of America.

Ok, call me stupid....but what exactly does the WOW stuff mean?? I see that all over dirty trucks and always wondered *** the significance of that was. I must be missing something.
EP, I humbly accept your slightly used half-off Burberry as a gesture of good will. In return I offer this lovely cashmere pashmina from Bloomies to keep you warm as you run across campus in the 20 degree weather.

So please don't generalize about Lexus' being glorified Toyotas. Saying that equates to the following Acura=glorified Honda, Infiniti=glorified Nissan, Cadillac=glorified Chevy and so on. Auto manufacturers make their vehicles based on certain niches. If you are a "car" person you are more likely to see the value in certain upgrades. If you just view cars as a mode of transport than you see the value in value. There's nothing wrong with that.

You forgot Audi being a glorified VW. I think we need to get ToyStory on the marketing team for Lexus. He does a much better job selling them than that ribbon commercial.
Interestingly enough, there is no Lexus for the Japanese Domestic Market. They are all Toyotas. So technically most or all of the Lexi DO have a Toyo counterpart. The Lexus name was only created for "foreign" countries because Toyo, like the other Japanese auto companies, wanted a way to sell their high end cars in the same market as MB, BMW, Audi etc...companies who don't sell models in the Corolla/Civic/Sentra class. It's all marketing. Just because a company can make an inexpensive car like a Corolla doesn't mean they can't also make a high end car like the LS.
