Ok so recently I was looking at menus and I know one of the restaurants had lettuce from living with the land in the salad description and now I can’t find it. Anyone know which restaurants have this

I know for sure there is a salad on the lunch and dinner menu at Tiffins called The Land Salad that uses lettuce from the Land. We did the Behind the Seeds tour in December and I think the guide mentioned that even one menu item at one restaurant requires a ton of lettuce so I don’t know if they service any other restaurants right now, though I could be wrong.

I'm assuming that you're looking for somewhere other than Garden Grill? Because that's the obvious answer, but I think multiple Disney-owned restaurants use their produce, but can't help you with specifics.

It varies based upon what’s in season and how much was grown. Disney intentionally does’t market it anymore, so there’s no definite way of knowing. That said, it’s been reported that restaurants in Epcot get much of it, to reduce cost (it costs money to move things around).

I doubt Signature restaurants get priority, since it’s not necessarily premium product. Taste is often influenced by where something is grown, for example.

Yes other than Garden Grill. I was I was going thru menus and saw it specifically mentioned on a menu and Tiffins has”The Land Salad” stating the lettuce grown in the land.

Find a Time Machine…. In the 90s and early 00 part of the script of living with the land included the CS now known as sunshine seasons and the food served was good….. Have not been a fan since they switched so 20+ years.

In addition to Tiffins, the Land Salad is also available most days at Nomad Lounge next door. It's not on the menu that's online but it's been on the list of specials at the lounge every time I've been there in the past few years. It's my favorite salad on property.

Thank you for this we go to nomad alot

I believe the lettuce wraps at Tiki Terrace also use 'the Land' lettuce - it wasn't written on the online menu, but I am pretty sure I just saw it on the printed menus this weekend.

There is a drink at the Abracadabar at The Boardwalk that says in its description that it's garnished with a basil leaf from Living with the Land.

Also during the Behind the Seeds tour we were told that any chef on property can request something from their greenhouse.

Unless there are more greenhouses than the boats go through, I would find they would be hard pressed to supply many restaurants and even then it could be spotty.

The greenhouses that the boats go through are the only ones there. I agree that their crops would not be large enough to service more than a very few restaurants.
