Just kind of think aloud here- but interested in opinions/advice.
We made ADR's for Akershus at Epcot for the lunch with all the princesses. The family we are vacationing with has chosen to do their ADR at Coral Reef that day. They mentioned that if my 8 yr old son would rather go with them, he was more than welcome. Part of me says "Of course" he would much rather eat lunch with the sharks rather then the princesses!. However - part of me says it is good for our kids to know that sometimes we do things as a family to celebrate things that one child loves ( in this instance DD's love for the princesses), and it's important to understand that being in a family is a give and take- especially on vacation! We do have some special things planned for him as well- so it's not like he isn't getting any special experiences just for him.
Then of course there is the cost issue- the princess lunch is pretty pricey...
Thoughts?
