Letters from The Magic kingdom

This may sound like an odd question, but here I go anyway! We are bringing our Christmas cards with us to the World to send from there while we are on vacation. Is there any where in the MK where you can send letters and if so, will they have a MK post mark? Does WDW have their own post mark or is the mail sent to the Orlando Post Office and post marked there?

I am not sure about this...someone probably will know, but you can always check at guest services when you get into the park, check on Main street at city hall! I know you can mail things at the resorts, but I am know you probably won't want to do that...good luck

I know that it doesn't have a Walt Disney World post mark....it's Orlando. Sorry. My friend sent me a few post cards while she worked at WDW and they all say Orlando on them. It would be cool if they did have their very own post mark though!

IIRC, when my wife and I last visited in May 2008, she had read about a location in DD to send your cards from and they'd be postmarked as such. Unfortunately, we had no luck in locating this for whatever reason (no idea if it really was true, or if the location was no longer there).

It was true but is now gone it was in world of memories store which is now 1/2 world of memories 1/2 design a tee store. it is located on path from disney bus stops across from days of Christmas store and next to art of Disney.

I have sent postcards in years past from Main Street and they do have Main Stree USA stamped on them. The official cancellation stamp from the Orlando post office is also there, but unless they stopped it, you'll get both. I can't remember exactly wehre, but the drop box is a small one hanging on a pole on main st, like the ones that are on people's houses.

When I mailed letters from Main Street, the CM at City Hall stamped them first THEN I put them in the mailbox just outside City Hall.

Official postmark is Lake Buena Vista ,FL...They may or may not still do the little WDW stamp as well..I thought they stopped doing this as well.
