Let's Talk Ticketing Tips...

I should start by saying THANKS! to everyone - I don't post often, but I've had the best time reading these boards in prep for my first WDW vaca in over 10 years - which begins in a couple of days!!!

Here's my question: what's the best way to get park tickets? we were going to wait & get them from the concierge desk at POR on arrival, but now i'm getting cold feet that it's going to hold us up from getting to the parks. i've heard nightmare stories about the lines for tickets at the park gates, so we were trying to avoid those & thought internet orders would mean waiting in line at will-call. we also want to make sure that our tickets are on our room key. is that ignorant? do they all come that way? i'm not sure!!

Correct me if I am wrong, DisExperts, but you can add them to your room at check in IIRC.

The IPO from AKL told me that we could add tickets for my son and his wife to our room when they arrive. This could be taken care of right from the hotel.

I called and added ours to our room keys through CRO.
