Lets Talk Holidays !!!

I don't know about you but I am 'SO FED UP' with this weather, so to cheer myself up I think about my holiday in May (like I do 24/7).

So, have any of you started your holiday shopping yet ?

On a recent trip to Manchester I bought a pair of sunglasses, a beach bag and a new skirt for my Disney Cruise, so the only thing I really have to get now is a sarong for Castaway Cay

I have a suitcase of clothes that I only wear in WDW like T-shirts from different rides, but I never wear them here as I want to keep them nice and its great getting clothes out that I haven't worn for a while, somehow wearing a strappy ToT t-shirt here doesn't quite feel the same as in WDW.

So come on, what have you bought or what are you hoping to buy soon for your forthcoming trip ?

Mandy - don't buy a sarong!!!! Buy one on the ship ......$20 and you will have a very nice mickey one...mine is a turquoisey (sp!) blue, tie dye effect with the unimposing mickey swirls on........hope you know what I mean by Mickey Swirls! Just 3 circles.....make a loop with your thumb and forefinger and that's the size of his head and two smaller swirls for his ears..... !!! I love wearing sarongs on the beach etc. but hardly anyone was wearing them!!!

I have bought lots of holiday clothes already as we go on a two week Caribbean cruise next Friday. A couple of evening dresses, loads of T shirts, summer weight trousers, sandals, shoes and bags.

I still have to look for shorts for WDW in September, but I might wait and buy those out there.

Not been able to think about the hols too much, I go visting the inlaws for a week in Spain on the 9th March then I move on the 18th March. Once these are over with we can think Orlando.

One of the best bits about going on holiday is all the shopping I get to do before it

Exactly 4 weeks today I'll be packing, and I'm in a bit of a panic now about the fact that I still don't have any shoes to wear

I've also gone a bit mad buying bits and pieces on E-bay, so much so that the postman has started greeting me by name when he sees me in the street

Oooh... only 4 weeks!! It's so near yet so far

Its DH's birthday today so were going to the Trafford centre in Manchester for the afternoon/evening No doubt i will be buying holiday things while were there Were going for a lovely meal to so thats the diet out the window for today

Shopping for holidays is as good an excuse as any! My weakness is shoes, my husband doesnt get why I have to have a new pair when I already have about 50 pairs in the wardrobe.

We moved house a couple of years ago and now only live about 10 minutes away from the Trafford Centre, they tease me at work saying thats the only reason I moved!

Have any of you checked out the fab bargains to be had on Ebay? I'm totally addicted, + you can shop in the middle of the night even if you want to!

I have to make myself stay away from Ebay a bit - I find it's too easy to spend, LOL

But I totally agree there are some fabulous bargains to be had!

I will be shopping for clothes for my next trip through out the summer, however I have bought a trolley type back back thingie that I can use for my hand luggage and fit the laptop also! Got it at the local outlets mall reduced from £50 to £7.50 - what a bargin!!!!
