Let's talk driving next year

I have to have a car too. I hate to be without. If we fly again I am sure we will rent a car. How else will I get to the outlet malls? I just do not feel safe without one.

I have a suggestion for those who go and don't rent cars and want to avoid Mears. Find a couple of othe DISers and do a towncar. I have done WDW with and without cars. I very rarely use the car once at WDW. I will admit going from one resort to another not on same bus route is the pits. Downtown Disney for shopping is better taking a car. Busses have a tendency to get very crowded.

<font face="comic sans ms"> Dave, that's a great suggestion. There will still be plenty of cars there to ferry people back and forth from resorts and DTD since some of us drive in. I enjoyed it when we did the towncar. </font>

You know, the PARKING LOT TRAM actually is one of my favorite rides at WDW, or anywhere else they have them for that matter. Barry ALWAYS chooses the parking space farthest from the entrance wherever we go!
