I love the look of the white (clear) C9/C7 Christmas lights. Our trees are getting bigger and we need more lights so I was considering getting some LED's this year. I DON'T like the "cool" LED's at all but I don't know that I have seen any of the warm LED's anywhere. Does anyone have them and are they close to what the "real" lights look like?

I'm with you - I don't like the "cool" or blue LEDs either. I want white lights, not blue. I think they are ugly.

I haven't seen Christmas lights in warm white, but they must be out there. Everyone I know thinks the bluish ones are ugly so they MUST have made realy white ones by now!

I don't mind the cool lights for outside...but not for on my Christmas tree! We found the warm LED ones and they are great. We got some at Lowes and some at Target. But go early because they usually run out before Thanksgiving.

We got the "warm" white outdoor LED's last year. The color tone is fine but they are NOT bright enough. I was very upset because we are stuck with them now! It was a big investment...they are the good GE ones.

I hate those blue LED lights. They remind me of the old fluorescent lights my grandma had in her house. Everyone looked blue in the kitchen.

I always buy lights at after christmas clearance. So last year was the first year of using the LED lights. I have a ton of stringed lights in all variations, white wire/green wire, solid colors, multi colors. Well Kari wanted to use the LEDs on the tree, and I was a little weary of it myself, but it turned out really really pretty. I use an incadesent garland with blue snowmen on it, so it made it really glow. I also set the lights really far back into the tree, so you couldn't see the actual bulbs, just the glow.

I'm still not a fan of seeing them on the outside.

I'm not a fan of the LED lights in any color. They don't seem bright enough to me, and you sort of have to look at them a certain way for them to look right.

I like the plain old lights. I choose green and white. I accent with red in wreaths, yard flags, etc., but I LOVE green lights!

OP,

Check out the Bethlehem Lights on QVC's web site! :)
