We are planning on arriving. 11/30 which will fall on a Sat. And staying through the following Sat. We will be arriving later in the day and I am trying to think...should we go to a park on arrival day? Which one? We will have 7 park days and plan on resting 1 day. We will be doing a park on departure day. We will have a car. No park hoppers. What park would you do which days. Obviously if we do one arrival day itll be what ever 3 fast passes and what ever else if any we have time for. Same on departure day. PLEASE tell me your thoughts PLEASE which parks which days. Considering resting either WED or Thurs. Thanks!

We are going that same week. U need to consider that the christmas party will drastically affect hours at MK and pick those day first — we are going to MK one party day for lower crowds and one non party day so we can see the fireworks.

I’d recommend something like: Epcot arrival day. Use 3 FP and have dinner in world showcase

MK Sunday (party day)

Ak Monday

HS Tuesday

Mk Wednesday / stay late for fireworks

Rest day Thursday

Epcot Friday

AK or HS Saturday

We went the week after thanksgiving last year and it was AMAZING. Low crowds and nice weather - it only rained once and for like an hour. We had hoppers and don’t do rest days, but in your case I would do:
Sat - Animal Kingdom
Sun - Magic Kingdom
Mon - Epcot
Tues - Hollywood Studios
Wed - Magic Kingdom
Thurs - Rest
Fri - Animal Kingdom
Sat - Hollywood Studios

We had a 6day trip last year. We arrived the day after thanksgiving. Here is what we did. We didn’t do Hooper’s either. Just 1 park per day which was perfect for us.

Day 1 Arrival (3pm) - MK
Day 2 - MK
Day 3 - 1/2 day at the pool than MK MVMCP for the evening
Day 4 - Epcot
Day 5 - HS
Day 6 (depart at 7pm) animal kingdom

Since u have 7 days to work with u could get a full day at AK. For you I suggest doing AK on day 6 and for day 7 do HS for dept day. You can always change what park u want to do on depart day during the trip. More like a floater day.

We liked doing the MK for 3 days. 2 half days + 1 full day. It allowed us 9 FP bookings. It made sense being that MK has the most rides.

That's when we normally go every trip. It's been getting busier each trip but it is still a very nice time to go. The crowds will drop down after Sunday. Magic kingdom on that Saturday will be packed & I'm guessing this year DHS will be so I would pick either AK or Epcot for your arrival day.

If things continue as they have in the past, Tuesday would be an EMH night at EPCOT and Wednesday an EMH night at MK. The latter appears less likely now, but we don't know yet. You could build your schedule around those depending upon whether you like to be in those parks on such nights.

We did the same week in 2016 and it was awesome. The weather was perfect. We did MK on our arrival day which was Saturday, and just did afternoon to closing with a few fast passes and a sit-down dinner. I don't remember it being super crowded but we had everything booked ahead of time and we were just excited to be there. We relaxed Sunday morning and went back to MK for the Christmas party at night.

We are also going the week after Thanksgiving this year (Thurs night 12/5- Mon pm 12/9). Can someone remind me what the strategy is with regard to MK party days....haven’t yet decided if we are going to do party , but regardless, if we aren’t doing a party should we avoid party days at MK or go to MK on morning of a party day and leave by 4 (looking for least crowded days :)

The party days are less crowded because so many people are trying to see the fireworks on a nonparty night.

You’ll probably get as much (or more) done in the shorter party day than you would with the crowds of a full nonparty day/night.

Got it, thanks!
