A method called forced perspective was used to make Cinderella Castle appear even larger than it already is. As it becomes taller, its proportions get smaller.

Ding, Ding, Ding! We have a winner! They were friends and the McDonalds guy thought it was a given that he would be able to put up stands in the parks, but Walt said no. He didn't want to cheapen Disneyland with food they could get anywhere. There is whole bunch of info about it in the book "Fast Food Nation".

What is so architecturally special about the Spaceship Earth Sphere?

Since nobody got this completely that I could see earlier, it is the worlds first Geodesic Sphere. This type of structure is capable of covering more area without requiring internal supports than any other. It is not quite perfedtly shaped, however.

I will now return you to the question at hand, which I do not have an answer for.
