DD#3 is turning 5 :scared1: Where did the time go? :scratchin

She wants to do it Disney style. (My brain is fried, either over thinking it or just too stressed)

Here's what we have so far:

Invites: still working but need to get done this week. Thinking tickets "you are invited to spend the day celebrating DD#3's 5th birthday at the Magic Kingdom.

Cake- 2 tiered round, with a castle on top (i am going to make one out of paper) and decorated with character cake pops- found a local lady to make us a bunch. :cool1:

Food- mickey head chicken nuggets, phineas and ferb pretzels, homemade churros-mini, popcorn, mini turkey legs, lemonade to drink?

Activites- get a silhouette made on "main street"

Favors- plastic tumblers, decorated like characters and Disney themed wash clothes, depending on number of attendees Disney Themed beach balls.

Decorations-pretty much anything goes :thumbsup2

I want to incorporate the Tiki Room into some sort of activity but drawing a blank.

Thinking about doing Following the Leader for a game, but we need a few more activities.

Thoughts?Suggestions?Comments?:goodvibes

Rachal, love your ideas so far!

It has been awhile since I have had a 5 year old, so I maybe out of sync.:rotfl:

Lemonade is good for a drink.

Activitiy suggestions

"pin" the beak on the bird for Tiki room, I used tape, less holes.

a search for a disney related object? Cindy's slipper would be cute for girls.

treasure hunt? strings of beads, ect could be hidden.

Not much help, but I will think some more.

Love the idea...

Let me think on it..

See if you can find some Mickey head shaped paper plates to feed them on! :)

Thanks ladies!

She's really not that picky so its easy. Just been overthinking it for so long. :)

Nan, those have been hard to find! Target does have some plastic serving dishes in mickey head shapes.

Ohh and I did get phineas and ferb jello molds!

I just saw some Mickey Christmas stuff at Target (plastic plates, cups, etc.).

How about a punch card for each activity? Like an E ticket ;)

Pin the bow on Minnie?

Punch cards would be fun.

Minnie would be fun.

Maybe some sort of Alice Themed Musical chairs...

I was thinking of a coloring station too. they seem to like just plain ole color pages.

Ohh! A mad tea party! I pinned a bunch of stuff when I was trying to talk Morgan into that last year...lemme look for it.

cute party idea Rachal!

megan had a princess tea party for her 5th...we had a coloring section and I ordered little teddy bears that came with crowns to decorate...played Disney dance music...disney princess pinata

oh and all the girls dressed up in their princess outfits

DD#2 had an alice-esque tea party last year.

DD#1 had a mega princesses party like that when she turned 6. We had over 25 little princesses! It was crazy.
General seems to be so much harder!

Ohhh going to have the kids make "autograph books" I have loads of scraps. Put stickers in them?

Maybe something with paper dolls too.

Invites went out today! I forgot to upload to photobucket first and already ed with the watermark.... I used the cameo and its print and cut feature.

Thanks! DD asked for more mickey head balloons for decorations. Figured I'd use up my crappy paper since it will all be replaced soon.
