Im in. Me and the wife were planning a vacation to cali anyway.


I just gotta say, I love these boards.I've been lurking on the dis since about 2000 and I regret not joining sooner than I did.

We've never been to DL and no NOTHING about the area. If you guys (through Dreams Unlimited) could provide some options for clean/safe/nearby hotels (as onsite seems pricey) and airport shuttle (so we don't get confused), that'd be great.

If this is actually happening, please let us know ASAP, so we can make arrangements (take off work, etc.)

May I just make a sugestion I know it sounds like your already settled on May of 2009 but just a opinon of a fellow disser. Ok I would reccomed going near the Podcast cruise as many disser would be unable to make both. Instead i'm going to reccomend August 2009. Why do I say this well you may have a better turnout as a few Podcast Cruise members may come. Also many people may be unable to come as I know at least in Washington state testing is the first month in May. Also kids are in school and dont most people take vacations in the Summer. Also a few more months to plan would be nice so this meet wouldnt be too sudden for people across the country. Last but not least were planning a trip for August and are unable to move it to May so may is not a option for us thank you for reading Katie

Count me in. I was there this year near the end of the F&W and didn't get to participate in the demos so I'd love to next year.

Dh and I will be in if we have the dates far enough in advance to not schedule any business training for the dates. For us, that means at least six months notice. We would love a DL gathering for the Festival; we've been to WDW too many times to keep track but have never been to DL.

Katie -- They were specifically trying to plan a meet around the Food & Wine Festival, which normally starts in April.
